Anyone here like free online roleplaying games? Back in the day i got started on a MUD (multi-user dungeon) actually its the oldest school of games. Its completely text base - so no real fancy graphics. But its a great break from other types of games. The one i use to play is back. its called Ancient Empires and it takes place of course in Ancient Roman like history. You can join guilds like Vampires, Knights, Wyrd (magic), Elemental Mages, Dragons, Gladiators, Clerics. Its pretty decent.



Sucky thing is not many people play, but its SUCH a great thing. The learning curve isnt all that bad. I was wondering if anyone else plays muds or is looking for a mud and will check it out.

you can put that in your browser to use telnet to go create a character now. type 'message WHATEVERHERE' to chat on the line if you need help with anything. also they are giving a bonus of 10 mil quest experience to new people so thats rad.
