I just bought

Whenever I run spore the "EA Download Manager" message box comes up saying I need a Flash Plugin to run spore, however when I click yes, it opens up a windows internet explorer window that freezes and wont go to a website... I've installed Flash again on Mozilla firefox but that specific message box comes up everytime.. However that is NOT the biggest problem, When I launch "Spore" after I cancel the flash plugin message box it trys to launch spore but my computer stops and my resolutions all screwey, I also get an  ERROR Message saying:

The instruction at "0x8b185689" referenced memory at "0x8b185689". The memory could not be "read".



I'm not sure what this means but I if it has to do with my video card I don't know why, I can play World of Warcraft, Sims 2, etc. on my computer, and previously downloaded the demo to spore and played that with flying colors... PLEASE HELP ME with this! Please give me specific details and things to help me play spore! And please no vague "Your Computer Sucks" Comments... T-T PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a similar kind of thing happen to me. Have you tried to delete your cookies?  Your temporary files?  



That worked for me when I first got Sims Castaway.

your best bet,, uninstall, reboot, reinstall, "DO NOT RUN EA DOWNLOAD MANAGER."  I  have that program mess up a few of my games. most games come with an automatic game updater that will launch when you start up the game and it detects an internet connection.
