There are nine pieces of Second Tier armour to collect for most professions:

• 2 x Sleeve
• 2 x Shoulderpad
• Gloves
• Boots
• Pants
• Chest
• Helmet

If you’re an Adventurer you get an extra back piece, so that’s ten in total for any adventurers out there.

What do I need?

Lets take a look at the ingredients required per piece of armour you want to make :

• 3 x Will of <xxxxxx> for each piece (27 for the full set, 30 for Adventurers)
• 1 x Embryo of Yomi'Arallu for each piece (9 for the full set, 10 for Adventurers)
• 3 x Advent of the <xxxxxx> for each piece (27 for the full set, 30 for Adventurers)
• 1 x Canister of Pure Liquid Notum for each piece (9 for the full set, 10 for Adventurers)

As with the First Tier Armour sets each profession requires a certain type of Will or Advent. Remember these items are NoDrop so you have to collect them yourself. Please see the table below to find out which pieces

Getting the parts!

Ok, so thats the shopping list, lets see exactly how you get your hands on them!

Wills, Embryos and Advents

You know the score by now! Its back to the lethe dungeons that you found the tier one parts in, but in this case you have to migrate from doing Elysium / Scheol to doing Adonis / Penumbra so the mobs are much much harder - don't expect to be soloing many of the mobs that drop the parts! Exactly the same drill as tier one - go through the spirit sections of the temple dungeons and drop down into the lethe dungeon below. Just like the balance between Elysium and Scheol for the previous versions the drop rates are far better in Penumbra then in Adonis and you will need to visit Pen for a decent drop rate on the Embryo.

Canister of Pure Liquid Notum

These parts can be found just about anywhere in the Shadowlands, Hiathlins, chimeras, hecklers, even factioned mobs - you name it they now drop it. For tier two the cansiter has to be above QL80 for the process to work. Given the unique tag has been removed since Shadowlands launched these parts really aren't a problem.

Putting it all Together

Let’s take a look at what you need to do next, lets take an adventurer as an example. As with the first tier head to your local IPS professional and ask about the armour.

You need to get the IPS NPC to make you a Red Glyph and a Purple Glyph.

• Red Glyph of Ocra = Trade in 3 x Will of the Reposeful + 1 Consanguineal Embryo of Yomi'Arallu
• Purple Glyph = Trade in 3 x Advent of the Prudent
• Use Canister of Pure Liquid Notum on Red Glyph to Activate it
• Then combine result with Purple Glyph of Bhotaar
• Then combine result with Tier 1 armour.

Viola! One tier two armor piece just for you!

Jokers Glyphs, Helmets and Shoulderpads

You’ll probably remember that tier one didn't come with any shoulder, back or head items, well this time out you can grab yourself some extra armor, but if there isn't a tier one part how do you upgrade to Tier two I hear you ask? Well there is a way, what you need to do is apply an item called a Joker's Glyph to the standard Jobe armor piece and it will then become an Advanced Jobe piece.

The Jokers Glyph drops from Eradicus in Adonis, if you haven't met this bruising creature yet its the boss at the end of the indoor dungeon areas that are scattered through Shadowlands.

Just apply a Jokers Glyph to each piece and you only need a single Glyph ( as it is NODROP UNIQUE ) to apply to the shoulderpads, helmet AND back item as it isn't destoryed in the process.

Conclusion

As with Tier One there are better armors out there that are far easier to acquire and for most players getting the embryos at the least will require a good team (or even two). They are the route to your Faithful and Chosen Armor sets though (the third tier) though and there is a certain satisfaction when you finally make a part given the blood (hopefully not yours!), sweat and tears that have gone into getting it.
