Ok, now we are down to the real business end of the Tiered Armor routine, the Chosen and Faithful armors, the ultimate reward for your efforts in the Shadowlands.

What do I need?

Lets take a look at the ingredients required per piece of armour you want to make :

• 1 x Joker's Glyph
• 1 x Glyph of the Arcana
• 1 x Insignia of the Faithful/Chosen
• 10 x Blue Glyph of Enel / Ocra / Aban
• 10 x Finely Refined Notum
  

Getting the parts!

Ok, so thats the shopping list, lets see exactly how you get your hands on them! Be warned before reading this section that you are going to hear the word Pandemonium on more then one occasion, so be prepared.

Joker's Glyph
Drops of the Eradicus bosses in Adonis that can be found in the indoor static locations.

Glyph of the Arcana
Drops from Pandemonium corrupted mobs (no one said this was going to easy right?)

Insignia of the Faithful/Chosen
Inferno named sided mobs and the relevant Inferno Temple bosses - Mordeth and Galahad - drop the Insignia. The drop rate seems to be a matter of luck, some have described them dropping frequently whilst others bemoan the fact they have never seen them. Those dropping unredeemed mobs do seem to have a slightly better reported drop rate

Blue Glyph of Enel, Aban or Ocra

In a slight change from the first two tiers there are two ways to get your hands on the Blue Glyphs, lets deal with the possibly harder but by now very familiar method of visiting the catacomb dungeons. This time out you are searching for a Consanguineal Embryo of Duat and three Fruitions of the Reposeful / Tempestuous / Unshakeable for every armor part you need, so given you need ten blue Glyphs thats ten embryos and thirty Fruitions...yes its a lot, and even worse you have to go the Inferno catacombs to find them!

As always the Fruitions drop from regular mobs and the Consanguineal Embryo of Duat from the boss mobs. However the Inferno catacombs are not for the faint hearted and the mobs go all the way up to level 270, it will take a very well organised raid team to make it any distance inside.

As always head to your relevant IPS representative in Jobe to exchange the items for your Blue glyph.

Ok, so thats the bad news!

Good news(ish!) is that complete blue glyphs drop from Corrupted mobs in Pandemonium, whilst this in itself isn't easy, it does seem to be a favoured method as whilst Pandemonium is obviously a challenging zone to hunt in, the rather poor drop rate and difficulty of the mobs in Inferno means that it is a viable option if you have your Hold Hell at Bay ring and are ready to brave Pandemonium.

Finely Refined Notum
Dryad bosses in Elyisium, Adonis and Penumbra drop this item. Quite why the key to unlocking one of the most powerful armors in the shadowlands was entrusted to such lowly creatures in not fully understood, but at least this part shouldn't be quite so difficult if not any less time consuming as the drop rate is not the greatest.

Putting it all Together

As I was writing this guide, I found that Khalem had compiled a superb thread on the official forums dealing with the whole process so rather the re-invent the wheel, here is his break down of how to put together your Faithful and Chosen armor!

Upgrading Tier2 items (including shoulderpads/backitem if your profession has one for Tier2)

1. Combine your Blue Glyph of X (see below for a list) with Finely Refined Notum. This requires 1210 Quantum and 1210 Computer Literature, resulting in a Blue Glyph of X - Revived
2. Combine Blue Glyph of X - Revived with an Insignia of the Chosen or Faithful depending on your alignment. This requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering, resulting in a X Glyph of Judgement (X being Earth, Water or Air)
3. Combine your x Glyph of Judgement with your Tier2 item to create your Faithful/Chosen item.

Backitem and Shoulderpads Non Tier2 Steps (This is only valid for items that have no Tier2 version)

1. Use your Joker's Glyph on your Basic Jobe Suit Backitem/Shoulderpads to make Advanced Jobe Suit Backitem/Shoulderpads
2. Use your Glyph of the Arcana on your Advanced Jobe Suit Backitem/Shoulderpads to make Excellent Jobe Suit Backitem/Shoulderpads
3. Combine your Blue Glyph of X (see below for a list) with Finely Refined Notum. This requires 1210 Quantum and 1210 Computer Literature, resulting in a Blue Glyph of X - Revived
4. Combine Blue Glyph of X - Revived with an Insignia of the Chosen or Faithful depending on your alignment. This requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering, resulting in a X Glyph of Judgement (x being Earth, Water or Air)
5. Right click your Excellent Jobe Suit support system to make a Jobe X Support System (where X is a profession) if its the backitem your creating.
6. Combine your x Glyph of Judgement with your Excellent Jobe Suit Support System or Excellent Jobe Suit Shoulderpads to create your Faithful/Chosen item.
   

And there you have it! You can now admire your nice new shiny tier three armor pieces

Conclusion

Whilst some will argue that some parts of these armor sets do fall short of say Sentinels, Omni Tek Armed Forces or Azure armor many of the parts are very nice indeed when maxed to level 300, and thats quite apart from the unique look of these armor pieces that will make you stand out when kitted out in an entire set.

It is hard to get, and will require the support of an organisation or a good network of friends.
