With the booster pack Notum Wars players can build these personal towers that can be set up in any outdoor area. They send out a boosting buff within a close radius that adds to your AC's and also gives a reflect shield and will also attack your foes for you if they are within range.

Up until Level 75 these can be bought in the Towers Stores across Rubi-Ka, after that level you have to build them (although you can build lower level towers too).

Deploying the Service Towers

Activating a service tower is simplicity itself, once bought all you have to do is right click on the inactive shell in your inventory, this requires a small amount of Matter Creation and Mechanical Engineering. The towers come in the following varieties:

• Flimsy Service Tower QL 5
• Feeble Service Tower QL 15
• Recycled Service Tower QL 50
• Android Service Tower QL 75
• Semi-Sentient Service Tower QL 150
• Cyborg Service Tower QL 225
• Nano Service Tower QL 300

The first four can be store bought, but anything else has to be made, you can also make towers below QL 75 as it works out cheaper then buying them from the vendor.

Building a Service Tower

The first thing you need is a Multi Purpose Tool, you need to visited either of the Supply Master's Eels or Smug to have obtained this item. Smug is the clan quest holder and Eels the omni variant. A short quest from them and you'll be able to build Towers, all you have to do is return one of the 'gift wrapped baskets' that you find in missions to them and you will be rewarded with the Multi Purpose tool

All the other parts you need are available from the Towers Vendors

With the Multi Purpose Tuner you can tune and expand any of the Service Tower libraries that are available in shops. You will find libraries for each of the Towers listed above. Shift Right click the Tuner on the Library, this requires approximately 5 times the mechanical engineering of the QL of the Tower you are trying.

Then result will be it a functioning tower control module, or 'brain'. Connect the 'brain' to a 'Service Tower Shell' of appropriate quality and you get an 'Inactive Service Tower'.

This is then ready to be deployed anywhere you see fit!

You then control the tower just like you would a pet by using pet like commands, pet users can have an active service tower in addition to any pets they may have active.

• /tower terminate
• /tower behind - will act like a 'stop attacking' command

The idea behind these towers was that you can use them to set up temporary camps locations where they could pull monsters too. Just like regular pets all the damage done by your Service Tower counts as damage done by you, or your group if you are in one, when it comes to dividing XP.
