This is one of personal favorite places on Rubi-Ka, there are more then a few hidden gems of locations all around this zone.

Richelieu
The first, must visit location if your clan is the raised trading station in which you can find a rather strange character called Richelieu. This Atrox is apparently a banjo player, but has a strange fixation with mushrooms that he think will take over galaxy (or something like that....), needless to say he is slightly mad, well worth a visit.

Here is just a snippet of some of his weird ramblings:

Silirrion: hello
Richelieu: Hi.
Richelieu: Have you come to hear me play the banjo?
Silirrion: Can you play the banjo for me?
Richelieu: You want me to play the banjo for you?
Richelieu: Sure, I can do that...
Richelieu: Hey! Look over there! It's a flying goat!
Silirrion: flying goat?
Richelieu: What are you trying to say?
Richelieu: I am the master of the known galaxy!!
Richelieu: Sorry. Lost it there for a second...
Richelieu: The nose of the universe is inside the nebula of the second coming!
Richelieu: We have to awaken the beast from under the mushrooms so that we can blunder-runder with my bludgeon! See if I don't!
Silirrion: what mushrooms are you talking about?
Richelieu: Do? I don't do much.
Richelieu: I collect mushrooms. I make a great mushroom-soup.
Richelieu: Do you want the recipe?
Silirrion: I want the recipe
Richelieu: You want my recipe for mushroom-soup?
Richelieu: OK. It's simple.Just take 5 delicious, beautiful, lovely mushrooms. Then get 3 Leet legs. About this size! Or maybe a bit smaller. Just get some legs, OK?
Richelieu: Then you have to get a couple of handfuls of leaves from that Frazetta bush.
Richelieu: Then you boil it!
Richelieu: Oh, I almost forgot! You have to put all the stuff in a pot and add water till you've covered all the ingredients!

Like I said he doesn't make much sense!

How do I get there?

Nearest grid point is a good distance away in Newland.

Omnis can Whom-pah straight there to the outpost in the north-east of the zone. If you're not Varmint Woods is probably the closest.

Locations of note

Carbonrich Rocks
There is a lovely carbonrich rock field in the north west of the zone. These rocks are needed for nano crystal creation.

Villages
These great looking habitats are scattered throughout the swamp area, but seem overrun with Bile Drinkers.

Avid Crater
This location houses a host of mission points and is relatively lowly populated in terms of mobs.

Outpost 10-3
This Omni-Tek outpost has a few elites guarding it, and seems to be long abandoned and also a little bit of a flooding problem!
