The reward is called the Notum Hood of Bobic

In Tir County, coords 1900x1400, you can find Inventor Bobic.

This is a 'find me items' style quest requiring you to find certain mutilated creatures in Tir County. As with this style of quest you can either go do each part piece by piece, or get them all before hand. It's generally much easier to get them all in one go and then head to Bobic.

The items you'll need are:

• A pair of Flexible Alloy Legs
• A Brain Module X349
• A Visual T.R.A.C. Scanner.

The legs drops off the Mutilated Shades, get the brain off a Mutilated Claw and the scanner off a Mutilated Eye, all can be found in Tir County.

Once you have the parts, find Bobic, be warned though he could win the prize of maniacal babbler of the universe. He is definitely a few screws short of a tool box. It's just a pity that earplugs aren't available for this quest!

Here is the Dialogue with Bobic:

<Player>: Hi

Inventor Bobic: Hello?
Inventor Bobic: Did someone just arrive?
Inventor Bobic: If it was this person I sent to get the [parts] I was waiting for, tell him that he is not a second too early.
Inventor Bobic: And remember to write up what I was planning last night, I need [legs], LEGS!
Inventor Bobic: It is important to keep order and everything under control, otherwise I would get confused.

<Player>: Tell me about parts

Inventor Bobic: Parts, legs. Legs'n parts, all the same aint it. Point is that I needs parts and legs and as the legs I need are really parts and partially the legs are all the parts I need. I would be pretty happy if you would part right now, stretch your legs and get me some parts...
Inventor Bobic: Legs I mean, sorry.
Inventor Bobic: So, would you get those parts for me? [Yes] or [no]...

<Player>: Yes

Inventor Bobic: Yes?
Inventor Bobic: Oh, yes, sure, you are perfectly right. I will try that out next time.

[give him the legs]

Inventor Bobic: Oh! Thank you, finally!
Inventor Bobic: But, but these are LEGS?!
Inventor Bobic: What am I supposed to do with some cheap legs if I am missing the brain?!
Inventor Bobic: I need a BRAIN!
Inventor Bobic: A functional, working, "with all the lights on in the top floor" kind of brain, not some organic old fashioned junk!
Inventor Bobic: Now get me a brain and we are back on track. And mind you, NO MORE LEGS!

[give him the brain]

Inventor Bobic: Was this the best you could do?
Inventor Bobic: What on Rubi-Ka am I supposed to do only with some Flexible Alloy Legs and a Brain Module X349
Inventor Bobic: Any ideas??!
Inventor Bobic: Of course not...
Inventor Bobic: Leave the thinking to the expert from now on, it will most certainly result in less stress on the progress of mankind and the fabric of the Universe itelf.
Inventor Bobic: Are you still here?? Lost in your insignificant thoughts no doubt. Now let me have that Visual T.R.A.C. Scanner we talked about before you forget about it.
Inventor Bobic: Come on, we don't have all day here!
Inventor Bobic: Let me guess: You dont have it.
Inventor Bobic: Well run along then and find it!
Inventor Bobic: Good Bye!
Inventor Bobic: Go!

[give him the scanner]

Inventor Bobic: What do we have there?
Inventor Bobic: This looks like a TRAC scanner, excellent, there is your reward young one. Hope it will be of some use to you.
Inventor Bobic: Now I just need to find some poor sod to run and get me some Alloy Legs and a Brain Module...
Inventor Bobic: If you see someone loafing around, send him to me. In the meanwhile I need to attend to my latest invention.
Inventor Bobic: Now leave me to my work will you?

There you have it, your mission for Bobic is now complete. Your reward? 1000 xp and 4000 credits, and the Hood. Given how few items buff intelligence its not a bad item to keep.
