Crawler

Crawler Armor

Once inside you'll be looking for the Skincrawlers that reside in the eastern section of the crypt, these mobs drop hides of various sizes and toughness each part makes a seperate part of the Crawler armor sets, all the parts are QL 'Special':

	Small Patch of Hard Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Hood
	Patch of Soft Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Sleeves (Remember you will want two of these)
	Large Patch of Hard Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Chestplate
	Small Patch of Soft Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Gloves
	Large Patch of Soft Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Pants
	Patch of Hard Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Boots
	Inflexible Skincrawler Hide - Used to make Shoulder Pad (Again remember you will want two of these)

It might take a little while to collect all the parts but the drop rate is very good and the skincrawlers respawn quite quickly so it shouldn't take all that long to get all the parts. To make the armor you will need a MMR (Shape Soft Armor) - now anyone who knows AO tradeskills will already know this isn't the easiest item to come by.

MMR (Shape Soft Armor)

To make this item you need to find two items:

	Programmed Photon Particle Emitter (Shape Soft Armor)
	Quality level 60 A Mass Relocating Robot

The programmed photon particle emitter is a QL 60 item and drops rarely as random loot in missions, mostly off of a team mission boss. To try and find it the best bet is run team missions around QL58. It might take a good few missions though as the drop is rare.

The Mass Relocation Robot is much easier to get, just visit a regular store and the General Tools and Bases Vendor. They come in various QLs and be wary of the quality level of the Mass Relocation Robot, as the finished product will decide how high quality armor you can make with it. You'll want an MMR above QL 40 in order to make QL200 armor. Combining the two parts takes exactly 2.5 times the QL of the MRR in Electrical Engineering, Nano Programming and Mechanical Engineering to achieve.

Making the Crawler Armor

With your MMR in hand you can just use it on the various skincrawler parts to produce the Crawler armor, simple as that.

Prowler Armor

Ok, now we have our Crawler armor we can start to think about making the Predator Armor. Converting them is much easier, all you have to do is apply a Proliferation Unit to the Crawler piece. The question of course is how do you find a Proliferation Unit? The answer lies with the skincrawlers boss mob - The Alpha Skincrawler - it drops a damaged version of the Proliferation Unit and all you have to do is apply a screwdriver to that and viola - one Proliferation Unit.

The Proliferation Unit is used up in the process of converting a Crawler piece to a Prowler piece so you will have to kill this boss a good few times to complete the entire Prowler set.

Conclusion

The Prowler armor set is a very nice levelling set and given that the drop rate on all the relevant parts is fairly good it is a nice armor set to put together for characters between 75 and 100+, the bonuses are very nice as you can see below (click on the images to visit Mainframe for a better view):
