Broken Shores houses the clan City of Home, the only clan bastion in the southwest. The vast desert to the north hides many mission locations, but the zone has pockets of 25% political suppression gas, allowing PvP combat between Omni and Clan forces, so be careful out there. This zone has many sights and also many dangers - there are an abundance of nasty critters out there, many above level 100. It is an often tried route for citizens to try and defect before they are of a high enough level to use the grid. This is a dangerous course though as at low levels almost every creature out there will try you as lunch. It may not look far on a map, but the trip across Broken Shores can be hazardous! It is also home to the mysterious Crypt of Home dungeon where adventurers above level 75 might want to explore. How do I get there? For clanners the grid exit requires 251 Computer Literacy and will bring you out at the pier in the city of Home. For omnis Broken Shores is further from any near grid point and probably not worth the trip when there are Whom-pas available. Omni personnel can reach Broken Shores from Rome. There are Whom-pahs from both Athen, Bliss in the Longest Road and Omni-Trade that can transport you to Broken Shores. Map The layout below will show you the area in detail, click the picture for a large view. ![]() Locations of note The City of Home
Clan and Omni Bases Both factions have bases with Whom-Pahs in this zone. The clan base is situated by the edge of one of the crater lakes, while the Omni base is on the eastern border of the zone.
Nothing much of note here, but a good excuse for some nice screenies!! Racing a Yalm through the maze is meaningless but great fun!
