Aegean is one of the larger zones in Rubi-Ka, also it tends to be a dangerous location for any adventurers under level 100, there is a great mix of levels in terms of the mobs. Lesser Anun Shredders in their 80s mingle with level 20 snakes and Blubags all over the zone, particularly in the northern areas.

There isn't a great number of mission locations, but they are scattered throughout the zone.

However the zone does have a great many interesting sites, and its one of my personal favorites for all the oddities that can be found with a little searching.

How do I get there?

The closest grid point is West Athens, from there out the eastern exit and follow either road through Wartorn Valley, the southern road will take you out in the 'new road' area close to Rising Sun (check the map), the northern road takes you out in the 'Elrut Mountain Pass'.

The closest Whom-pah is in Athen, then its a case of following the same directions out of Athen as above. You can also Whom-pah to Stret West from Borealis, head north out of the last ditch and follow the river bank north, you will zone into Aegean close to the crashed starship in the south of the map.

Locations of note

As I said Aegean has a few interesting sites that can be found, and at least one decent hunting spot for those in the 40-60 level range.

Rising Sun and The Tooth
Firstly there is a hidden clan outpost atop a mountain in the area called 'The Rising Sun', you can access the outpost by running through the waterfall at the base of the mountain, you will enter a secret passage that leads up to the top. There are no vendors here, but there are mission terminals, insurance terminal and reclaims.

If you head east from Rising sun you will come across a high outcrop of rocks in a crater called 'The Tooth', around here many vultures spawn, this in a good group can be an excellent hunting location.

Bronto Farm
Almost slap bang in the middle of the zone you will find the bronto farm, you will find a basic quality weapons vendor here, and a chef. There are also mission and insurance terminals here, of course there is an abundance of cute little minibrontos too!

Face Mountain
One of the stranger locations on Rubi-Ka is this strange location at 1473, 2729 in Aegean, for a world that was supposed to be lifeless before terraforming, one wonders how this structure came to be here! Easy to miss on foot, you really need a Yalm to appreciate the scale of this mountain feature.
