Herbalist Gerard can be found in the Rhinoman village in Newland Desert (the same one which higher level players will be familiar with from hunting a certain professor Van Horn). The location is a little north east of Stolts Outpost and Whompa station.

This quest is part of the social clothing quests for Maria's fashion kits so you'll need to have spoken to Master Divenchy first for Gerard to offer the dialogue options needed to get the part you want.

Having talked to Divenchy about the Anti-Perspiring Padding head over to Gerard. Speak to the Herbalist about the padding and you will have to give him 1000 credits.

He will then give you Extract of Bodan-Minor.

You will then get a timed mission to take this extract back to Divenchy. If you are low level and don't have a yalmaha this time frame can be a little tight so don't stop to fight anything if you can help it!

Divenchy will then take the Extract given to you by the Herbalist and turn it into an Anti-Perspiring Padding for you.
