Gilbert can be found in Newland Desert and is another of the Social Clothing related quests.

You will need to have spoken with Master Divenchy first in Newland Desert to get Gilbert to deliver the correct options to kick off this quest, which is one of the longer ones for the social clothes. Having spoken to Divenchy head over to Gilbert. His exact location is the guard post in Newland Desert at 3110 x 550.

Gilbert needs you to deliver a bottle to the bartender at Neuters ‘R Us. The problem is he seems to have misplaced his personal organiser. It seems old Gilbert is too paranoid to use modern computers and prefers good ol fashioned pen and paper. When you are talking you notice he drops his book at his feet.

Pick it up and give it back to him, relieved he will then give you a bottle to kick of the delivery quest. Take the bottle to the bartender at Neuters ‘R Us in Newland.

The bartender will give you a flimsy barstool. Go back to Gilbert and tell him that you have given the bottle to the bartender.

Gilbert will then tell you that you can get the Fingertips from a certain machine. The problem is that you have to have some special passcodes. He will give you the first one, make a note of it, but you are going to have to go and find the others.

The first code can be gotten from Penelope Magistrate who can be found at the small Rhinoman Village in the far western side of Newland desert. (NOTE: she sometimes strays into the nearby Oasis for a swim). Speak to her about the code but do not let on to her what its for or you won't get it out of her. If you do it right you will get a color code, again make a not of it.

Now head over to Inspector Marciello in Meetmedere (he's out where the grid drops you off) and go through a similar routine in the conversation and get the second code.

Now you have both codes head off to the mission that Gilbert gave you (NOTE: the mobs in this mission scales to your level). Once in the mission look for a white trashcan looking item that can be clicked on.

Once you find it and click a dialogue screen will pop up. It will ask for the codes, enter the numbers and then the two color codes. It will then give you a list of items to choose from. Select the Fingertips as that's what you are looking for. Now you must activate the Fingertips before you leave the mission, pick up the Fingertips and use them on the machine. Now you have your Sensitive Cybernetic Fingertips.
