This one is for all the Nano technicians out there if they already have their Izgimmer-modified Cyberdeck. The aliens it seems have some ingenious circuitry chips that can boost the abilities of the cyberdecks.

The alien boss mobs in the alien motherships drop a series of Chip Molds that can be added to the Cyberdeck to add some additional stats that aren't to be sniffed at. Here ais what can be added to the deck.

Circular Kyr'Ozch Chip Mold Adds 150 nanoinit

Square Kyr'Ozch Chip Mold Adds 3% damage

Triangular Kyr'Ozch Chip Mold Adds -5% nanocost

Changing Chips

It's also possible to remove the chip once added and add a different one if you want to. To do this you need to get yourself a special Disassambler Tool that can also be found from loot from the alien bosses.

Simply combine the tool with your upgraded deck to remove the installed chip. Be warned though the chip is destroyed in the process!

Conclusion

The drop rate on the chips isn't great, but if you do get your hands on them the upgrades are not bad at all and anything that can boost your powers isn't to be sniffed at, and may free up an NCU slot if you used belt items to boost your nano init or nano cost.
