The 1st class change quest can be undertaken when your character hits level 18. At this time the quest may be started by visiting the appropriate NPC. You cannot change class until you complete the quest, and hit level 20.

2nd Class Change Quests

The 2nd class change quests are done in 3 parts¹. Usually you do the first one at level 35, the second at level 37, and the last at level 39. And then when you hit level 40 you can be your new class and learn skills, etc.

The first quest done at level 35, is *normally* the same within each first level class. i.e. all Warriors do the Trial of Challenger, all Rogues do the Trial of Seeker. The only ones that are not like this are the Elven Knights and the Palus Knights.

The second quest done at level 37 is the same within each race. All Humans do the Test of Trust, all Elves do the Test of Life, all Dark Elves do the Test of Fate, all Orcs do the Test of Glory, and all Dwarves do the Test of Prosperity.

The third quests are split among the specialty types of the 2nd level classes. i.e. Future Hawkeyes, future Silver Rangers and future Phantom Rangers do Judgment of Sagittarius. (Sagittarius is the constellation of the Archer). etc. etc.

¹The Kamael race only has a single quest, found at level 39, to certify them as their second class.

3rd Class Change Quests

These quests begin when you hit level 76. Once completed you can change to your 3rd class immediately.
