Introductory Notes: Be careful of aggressive monsters in Valley of Saints as they nuke hard. I can certainly remember that Flash of Splendor nukes hard. Also keep in mind that all Altar rooms are in the lowest level of Valley of Saints, you can tell when you have found one either because it has grass or if you see some Angel-like Quest Monsters. However, to move from one room to another you will have to walk throughout the VoS on ground level.

1) You must first find the Hierarch, as said in previous quests involving this NPC, the easiest way is to just port to Valley of Saints and go straight ahead till you fall off the cliff and go back into the "cave" there. So, you found him and you talk to him, he gives you an introduction to the quest and you say that you are ready.

He then gives you 5 Crystal of Seal(s) and wishes you luck.

2. Now you must find the Altars and place the crystals in them so you can destroy them. Well the first one is right next to the Hierarch, so you can see how this works. Just talk to it, and you will destroy it by inserting the Crystal in the right spot. You do not need to talk to the Hierarch again.

Now as long as you keep your quest window open the Altars will be pinpointed.

Now do not be confused, there is a Hierarch next to EVERY Altar. And a note on the next Altar: This is very close to the first one, just a few steps on the right when you come out of the room, so be careful with it, don't try and destroy the first one again.

And after you are done just talk to ANY Hierarch you want. He tells you that you are now a member of the Benandati Cartel (don't know if it unlocks other quests or something, you do not get a quest item however) and rewards you with your XP.
