1. Maria can be found in The Town of Dion Grocery Store.

2. Speak with Maria and you will be presented with two conversation options. Choose the first option to side with the peasants and begin the quest. The second option simply ends the conversation.

3. Hear Maria out and agree to help her. She will send you to speak with Captain Alex.

4. Captain Alex can be found in Floran Village just south of The Town of Dion.

5. Captain Alex will ask you to hunt area mobs for Watching Eyes, Roughly Hewn Rock Golem Shards, and Delu Lizardman's Scales.

6. Hunt Watchman of the Plains, Cursed Seers, Roughly Hewn Rock Golems, Delu Lizardman Supplier, Delu Lizardman Special Agent, Delu Lizardman Commander, and Delu Lizardman Shamans. The Delu Lizardmen will sometimes call for reinforcements from other Delu lizardmen in the area and the Golems. All mobs can be found close to Floran Village and just south of The Town of Dion. The player who gets the final hit receives the quest item. Thankfully, the drop rate is frequent.

7. You can return to Alex with any number of quest items to trade them in for adena. Choose "Thanks - we'll try not to spend it all in one place! Ha ha!" to trade in all of your quest items for 100a each.

However, there is another option . . .

8. If you choose the option "Reward? Sir, there has been a mistake, surely. One doesn't do such things for a reward, but for the satisfaction of the deed itself," you will open three more options for receiving a reward.

9. If you decide to go the donation route, there are three levels of contribution. To help Timothy, trade in 100 quest items. To help Maria, trade in 200. And to help the chief of Floran Village, donate 500 quest items.

If one contribute to Timothy with 100 proofs, the reward is either 1 EAD and 13000 adena, or only 1000 adena.

If contribute to Maria with 200 proofs, rewards are either 1 EAD and 20000 adena, or 1 EWD, or just 2000 adena.

If contribute to the Chief with 500 proofs, rewards are either EWD and 45000 adena, or 5000 adena.
