A member of a mercenary group was sent to investigate the ancient monuments around the Swamp of Screams. Now he's missing? Can you find him? Form a small party and look into this mystery!

1. Begin the quest by speaking to Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie in Swamp of Screams port to the Western Entrance from the Gatekeeper or Dusk/Dawn Priest/Priestess. He tells you the missing researcher, Krorin, went missing in the swamp. If you find him dead, bring back his diary.

2. Of course, you find him dead.

Check out his body.

3. You find his diary in his backpack. Take it back to Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie.

4. Abercrombie asks you to complete Krorin's research. To begin, you'll need to find the Forgotten Monument - First Secret Buried in the Swamp.

It is here I can tell you this quest begins to get on my nerves. Each monument will be located INSIDE a Stakato nest and when you enter the water there, you'll get hit with hex and poison. The secret to survival? Stay as close to the walls as possible. I left my party to watch my back while I made it to each monument alone.

5. The Forgotten Monument gives you the location of the second secret monument.

6. You guessed it. The second secret points the way to a third monument.

7. Now go to the fourth monument.

8. When you get to the fourth monument, you learn what the big secret is: a way to track the moon's position during teh four seasons.

9. Return to Abercrombie. He will reward you with 130,000 experience and 40,000 adena.
