A Word on Stakato locations: if you stand facing East out of the Mercenary Camp, Splinter Stakatos are to the right of the road and Needle Stakatos are left of the road and up a hill, on a plateau above the Splinters.

1. At the Mercenary Camp in the Swamp of Screams (teleport from Rune with either the Gatekeeper or Priest of Dawn), talk to Mercenary Kahman at the front of the camp and get the quest.

2. Hunt Splinter Stakatos, Walkers, Soldiers and Drones until you have 100 Splinter Stakato Chitins.

3. Return to Mercenary Kahman and hand in the Chitins for your reward: Golden Ram Badge - Recruit. Congratulations you are now a brother of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force.

4. You should now continue the quest by hunting Splinter Stakatos (again) and Needle Stakatos.

5. Collect 100 Chitins each from both Splinter and Needle Stakatos.

6. Return to Mercenary Kahman for your reward: the Mark of the Golden Ram - Elite.

Once you have attained the Elite Mark, you can use Mercenary Medic Selena for various buffs and Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie

To use Selena's buffs, you need to have Golden Ram Chits.

Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie lets you buy Grey Loot Pouches and Dimension Diamonds.

You can do this quest at the same time as any other Swamp of Screams quest, since a Stakato will drop both Claw and Chitin - if you're lucky, both at the same time.
