1) This quest starts in the Dwarven Village at the Blacksmith shop with Blacksmith Brunon. He asks you a question and if you get it right he gets upset and the quest stops, so just go ahead and pick "I don't know" to make him happy.

If you guessed right

If you picked "I don't know". Then go to the Elder Council.

2) Talk to Golden Wheel's Spiron in the Elder Council and pick Golden Wheel. He's totally vague but just walk over to Balanki in the same room.

3) Balanki makes you give him 100 adena and tells you nothing specific. Damn dwarves.

4) Go back to the Blacksmith shop and talk to Blacksmith Silvera. She's going to make you work for your calculator by sending you to kill Gemstone Beasts for 10 crystals.

5) Gemstone Beasts can be found in the Abandoned Coal Mines just one room in. You only need 10 but it can take a while as the drop rate is bad. Then go back to Silvera.

6) She gives you the Calculator which is what Brunon wanted.

7) Brunon offers you 1,000 adena or the Calculator, I picked the Calculator. 1,000 adena is nothing anyway but you're welcome to try that route instead.
