9Dragon training guide

There are some Training Tips guide. This guide is based on what I've experienced in 9Dragon based on what to train.Read the following information.I feel that the guide is very useful to you.

1. Mobs that do not attack unless attacked first are usually better than those that do (for obvious reasons). However, at higher levels, these are fairly hard to come by. Usually, "beasts" are usually the least likely to attack at will. There are exceptions, however.

2. Level-wise, you will want to fight mobs that are yellow. However, most enemies are different than others. Things you will want to consider are whether they have a ranged attack or not, their ability to hit criticals and cause wounds, debuffs, and speed (but this is mostly for nukers). If all of the above do not apply, you can probably fight them in the orange stage. DO NOT EVER fight anything 4 levels higher than you!! (unless apparently, according to Broosser, you are a nuker. I have now confirmed it with my own nuker that it is possible to grind on red mobs which are 5 above your own level.)

3. I would recommend fighting with active kung fu at least cheng 3. If you learn a new kung fu, I would suggest fighting green-white mobs with a manual until your technique is cheng 3. Nuker skills can be used at around cheng 2... I would recommend training it at least a little bit before charging into combat. A good spot to train it is at Song Shan (the shaolin headquarters) at the tiger found around the stone tunnel. It will not continue to chase you as long as you are in the tunnel. Also, at Zhengzhou, you can train on suspicious shaolin desciples, as long as you stay on the stone staircase thing. I'm pretty sure they do not climb, but try it out for yourself and see what you think. Unfortunately, you have to stop at high RC levels when they become dark blue.

4. This is pretty obvious, but... try to get into as many parties as possible. If it is individual exp, nothing really changes, except you are more likely to be revived when you die or be buffed. If it is a shared exp party, you are most likely going to do better than if you were just soloing.

5. If you are one of those people who just can't stand to grind, join a hero band. A good hero band with active members that like to talk. You will be less bored if you talk while grinding, and it's easy to get a party going.

6. This is for healers and hybrids. ALWAYS use your quick heal (the one you learn at OC 10 i think) after killing a mob. Even if you dont need it, for a few reasons. a.) to heal damage (duh) b.) so that the 15 seconds of healing carries over to the next mob you fight c.) so that you can get extra exp. d.) healing draws mobs towards you, so you will always have something else to fight.

7. To prevent death when you are at low health, run away when you are 2-4 hits away from dying, depending on how far you are away from a safe area (usually towns or near guard NPCs). When you are grinding, you should always have a designated meditation area. Every map has one, which is an area where you can safely meditate without fear of being attacked. Try to run away before your hp bar starts flashing, so that you can get hit at least once while charging up your lightfoot to run away. It's only around 1 second before you start running, but that 1 second can mean life or death when your hp is down to almost nothing.

8. When 5 enemies are attacking you at the same time and you are under 50% hp, just run. Just... don't even try. (unless you are a healer or a hybrid with a good heal.)

9. This isn't really a training tip, more of a money-saving tip. Starting from the mid OC levels (when weapons are 10k ) always refine to 2. You will save money that way, and the extra damage isn't too bad either. You will want to refine every single weapon that you will ever use (starting from mid OC, of course) to at least 2.

10. This is a pretty important one. Watch the level difference in the area that you are fighting in. If there are more than 3 types of enemies, it's probably not a very good idea to train there. When all the mobs are green, you should probably move along to a different area. It's probably a good idea to train where the lowest level mobs are white, and where the highest level is yellow or orange, around 3 levels higher than you.

11. This is not THAT important, but it is fairly useful nonetheless. Use the spacebar to pick up your drops. That leaves you with 1 hand on the mouse, and 1 hand on the keyboard. That seems to help some people, particularily if you are "uncoordinated."

12. This is something about enemy behavior. If you heal, meditate, or hit a critical hit near other monsters, that potentially draws more mobs towards you. You can use this to "pick your fights" with certain enemies.

13. When you are at flashing hp (which you should never be) and the enemy is at flashing hp and you reeeallly want to kill it, just run. It's not going anywhere. If you're afraid someone ELSE might kill it, remember you will get most of the exp and be able to pick up w/e it drops.

14. This is just an experiment that seems to help with healer fighting. When you are fighting, let your active kung fu animation sequence run though once. Then, follow up with a smashing attack. Repeat once or twice. The enemy should be dead by now.

15. My nuker is just a noob right now, but from what I can gather, this is what I have to say. When 3 mobs are attacking you at once, try to kill 1-2 before your shield runs out. Once it does, run like heck.

16. When you are going afk or setting up a stand in hefei for a while, be sure to do this to get your med steps level higher. Buy around 3 crane embroidered satchets. Equip them. Now, put on your med, steps, or both. Go about your buisness. By doing this, your skill exp will rise and you will never run out of VE with the satchets.

17. Rather important one that I have discovered regarding 2x exp. Very useful, no? Unfortunately, 2x exp also means
2x the number of people at your usual grinding map. Simple situation is to party. However, most times, everyone already has a party of 9 going, which makes it rather hard for you to grind. This is my solution. If you are a healer or hybrid, train your buffs. Believe me, training your buffs make it much easier to grind later on, even without 2x exp. If you are a nuker, I recommend maybe going to train your techniques on the spots I mentioned earlier. Now... warriors. You should probably just suck it up and grind, but sometimes, at very crowded maps, I just get really annoyed. In these situations, I go to the bloody plains, and fight some of the monsters there (just for fun, mostly. But, the very first monster that I fought in BP was a sacred flower, (not pking) and it dropped a blood essense... it was dark blue too. Curious?) You can get lucky and find a chest to get herbs, and you wont get pked since most of the high-level pkers will be grinding. Ah, long tip, no?

18. Remember, you need Vital Energy to run away too. Most mobs ARE fast enough to hunt you down if you're running away without lightfoot, and if you are in a situation where you need to use lightfoot, you probably won't last long. Remember to always leave around 50 VE for a quick escape, which should give you enough VE to use lightfoot and get to a point where the aggro mobs will "lose interest in you."

19. Nuker tip. Don't get to confident. You may be amazed by the damage that you do with your nukes and such, but remember, with that low defense, the mobs you train on (especially at higher levels) can do the same kind of damage to you. Remember to always run after firing off a nuke (also known as kiting) even if you are going to kill the enemy in one hit. If you miss, that could cost you your life.
