The following is a guide to help newbies with refining weapons in 9Dragons , Weapons refinement it will strengthen the damage of the weapon you are using. you'd better refine your weapon to at least level 2 for any weapon that you are using as it does not require any blood essence. You can refine a weapon up to level 9 for now. Refined weapons from level 3 on will make your weapon light/glow a certain color.

level 1 - no glow

level 2 - no glow

level 3 - white

level 4 - bright white

level 5 - green

level 6 - bright green

level 7 - blue

level 8 - bright blue

level 9 - red

Refinement materials for level 1 & 2 can be bought from the General Store in Hefei. NEVER buy them from other people's stands because they usually charge you 10,000 gold each. Level 3 onward refinement material is traded with Blood Essence from the NPC in Hefei.

Here are some tips that most people who have successfully refined their weapon to level 9 have done.

1) Refine weapons that are 1 or 2 levels close to your level or below or else your refinement success will be much lower.

2) Try to have your character experience to at least 80%.

3) Once you have refined your weapon to level 6 wait a day or so to refine again, and only do one refinement level a day.

4) Should use your refined weapon to lower its durability and then repair it before you refine.

5) If you have failed 2 or 3 refinements at low level ( 3, 4, or 5) do not try again until next day as it clearly suggests you have a very low success rate or else you'll just be wasting your BE's.
