9Dragons: FAQ about blood count

This is NOT general guide on how to get Blood Essence in 9Dragons. I'll attempt to cover the most basic aspects of Blood Count, but remenber, you may find mistakes and you might want to add your experience, and this miniguide is completely open to discussion, the opinion of other players, and obviously correction.

Without further ado, lets go for the questions.

1. What is the Blood Count?
Blood Count (or BC) are the red colored numbers you can see in the lower right of your screen. As you defeat monsters, they increase. Once they reach 999, you are able to get a Blood Essence by clicking on the number once the counter to 999 is complete. You will get a notice once you complete it.

2. What is a Blood Essence?
A blood essence is a important item which allows you to increase the power of your weapon. You do this by talking with the Refinement Material NPC in Hefei and exchaning the blood essence for a Dragon Blood. There are diverse types of Dragon Blood. The easiest Dragon Blood to get upgrades your weapon from 2 to 3, with a certain chance of failing and destroying your weapon.

3. Do player kill (PK) sum to the Blood Count?
As long as my experience goes, the player kills (PK) DOESNT help blood count. You are able to get karma from players only, but not BC. NOTE: if someone thinks otherwise please post.

4. How do I loss my Blood Count?
Your blood counter is resetted back to zero (0) if you die / enter coma. However, if you enter into near death (when the blue bar appears and starts to diminish) and you are shocked back to life you won't loss the blood count you've acquired so far. Keep in mind that being killed by monsters and bosses resets your blood count. Getting killed by a player doesn't reset your count.

5. What else I get for reaching the 999 in the Blood count?
Nothing else than a blood essence and the satisfaction of reaching 999, since is quite hard and not all players are able to do it often. (But you may get some bits of Good Karma for all the monsters you killed in the process).
