Armor Rider PVP
By Keeg

Ever since merge I have heard the crys from fellow armor riders about pvp. I don't claim to be an expert and know I am a noob and still learning the class my self. I have made some observations though that I feal will benefit a dying class.

Armor Riders strength in pvp? Very common question with serval different answers. Armor Riders have some of the highest dps bell side making them great for taking out tougher oppents and control chips during war. Both the Golaith and the Catapult have very effective debuffs that are under used. The must notable is the Golaith which shoots a net that keeps an oppent bound in place with a little cool down. The one debuff most people are not familar with is the Catapult. This debuff is very useful for taking down tough oppents, as it lowers defense, dodge, and block rate.

How do I avoid taking so much damage? Many people complain that the mau doesn't have enough defense. I hate to say this, but as long as weapons are upgradeable you will always be taking a lot of damage. Solution? Easy pvp in a group. If your not in a group you might as well be on foot and save your self money. Remember this is a group pvp game, not charge in and solo some one.

Who should I pvp with? Good parties usaly consist of 2-3 bmaus 1-2 casters and 1-2 other types of dps. You want a well rounded group so you can handle multiple situations. Casters are great for people that can remove debuffs quickly. Alternating nets and ensare is a great trick to take down fleeing targets. Casters are also great for dps, removing defense and dodge, and purge heal when you have to switch maus. Bezerkers and any type of ranger also excel with there high dps and crit rates. Also The drivers should be cordinating there attacks and debuffs, haveing one person in a catapult is always good.

When the going gets tough what to do? As pvp goes eventualy your going to beat and your going to need to bail. Have the mages ensare and bmaus net and try to get every one out alive. Mages should also use heal and purge on any 1 on foot. I personaly try to net rangers and mages first as they are quicker then melee.

What to do when fighting those pesky cora mages? No offense to cora, but mages are the most annoying to kill. They have high dps and purge spam and need to be taken out asap. What I do when engaging at a distance is net then move closer, wait for the first purge then net again then switch to main weapon. Against weaker mages this will usaly buy enough time to take them out. Summons: You really need to be in a group to take these out with out a a big repair bill. If the summoner tries to stun your support with hecate take them out asap these can't hurt you and don't take long to take out. Isis of course is a different story. These will eat your mau alive if left unattended. Get your group to focus fire these wile you net the caster. After the Isis is dead every one Focus on the summoner.

What about those high defense accertia? To be honest with you this is probaly where the mau fails and I wouldn't advise fighting them unless you want a nice repair bill. There spikes usaly aren't to bad, but over time that damage adds up. I would only attack them in a big zerg of people and would probaly stay in a catapult spaming the debuff.

Thats it for now other armor riders please post your pvp tips and experience!
