PT
what is PT?


PT or 'points' will make or break your character. It is similar that of a STAT but is treated differently. To understand more about PT, let's define the different kinds.


Short Range PT
- popularly known as Melee PT or close range PT.
- Gains experience using close range weapons like sword, mace, spear and other close range weapons.
- As it levels up, it increases close attack power, can wield stronger close range weapons and armors.

Longe Range PT
- Gains experience using guns and bows and arrows
- As it levels up, it increases range attack power, gains additional Stamina [SP], can wield stronger and faster armors and weapons.

Racial PT
•Launcher PT [Accretia]
-Gains experience using Launcher type weapons.
-As it levels up, can wield stronger launcher weapons and armors
•Summon PT [Cora]
-Gains experience everytime you use your Animus [summon]
•Unit PT [Bellato]
-Gains experience everytime you use MAU [Massive Armor Unit]
-As it levels up, you can purchase higher upgrades.

Force PT
[Not applicable for the Accretia Race]
-Gains experience everytime you use magic
-As it levels up, it can make stronger force [magic] damage, gains more FP

Shield PT
- Gains experience everytime you SUCCESSFULLY block an attack using a shield
- As it levels up, it increases the chances of blocking an attack/magic and can use stronger shield.

Defense PT
- Gains experience for every damage recieved
- As it levels up, additional HP, and take less damage.

Craft PT
-Gains experience everytime you SUCCESSFULLY craft an item
-As it levels up, it increases the chances of success crafting and unlock more items craftable.
Three crafting types.
-Armor
-Weapon/Shield
-ammunition

You can access your PT list by pressing C and selecting Ability Info

Everytime you level up, a certain number of points is added to your maximum PT. The higher your level is getting, the higher number of points is added to your maximum PT.

Reminders:
•PT experience will depend on your base level NOT pt level.

E.g. if at level 1 you gain 6 xp from Flem in your close range with 1/N PT, when you reach level 10, still 1/N close rage PT, you'll get less or no experience at all.

•Def PT will not gain experience depending on how much damage you take but, again, on your base level.

•Before starting to PT train your character, I suggest that you plan what PT you're going to level beforehand because when you decide to train other pt [other than your 'main PT] and you're already a high level, you might not able to train them anymore. Training on a lower monster will give you no experience and training equal or higher than you, your attack is missed.





IMPORTANT NOTE : Before focusing your own class PT, it's strongly recommended to train other PT when your main PT is maxed. Try to max others as much as possible will help.

As for skill , try to focus on one weapon. Therefore you can train one weapon skill to gain more attack power rather then split the PT.
