Tales of Pirates provides 4 characters and 10 classes. Each has strengths and weaknesses that can be complimented or exploited by other classes. The game attaches a lot of importance to group cooperation and grants high EXP when different classes work together in a team. However, as there are many different ways of training for each class, newbie players may feel hard to get started, wondering which way fits them the best. Among all these classes, Champions are the brute force that every team needs when fighting BOSSes. Today TOP will be sharing their previously secret Champions’ X File with everyone.
Champions are muscular and powerful fighters that feature high Constitution and Attack Power. They often use skills like Howl, Blood Bull, Greatsword Mastery and more, all of which require high Constitution and Attack Power. In order to pursue greater strength, Champions have given up the use of a shield so they are able to wield two-handed weapons of great power and devastating force. This greatly increases their offensive striking power.
Their great strength makes them an indispensible part of a team, especially when fighting powerful BOSSes up close and personal. They are always at the vanguard, guiding low defense classes like Sharpshooters, Seal Masters, and Clerics into the lairs of the toughest BOSSes. They usually spend most of their time beating back dangerous monsters, and at the same time are very helpful in protecting their team members from harm.
Advancing to Champion: The Quick Route
Level 1-10: Get through the newbie quests and guide quests to reach Level 10.
Level 11-17: Defeat some Level 12 bears at the Abandon Mine Haven to hit Level 17.
Level 18-25: Players can reach Level 25 by hunting the Level 19 Killer Shroom on the left side of Mine Haven.
Level 26-30: Players in this range can have some fun killing Level 24 Snowy Wolves at Deep Blue.
Level 31-40: Kill lots of Grassland Wolf Champion near Valhalla Haven because the wolves there reward players with a lot of EXP, and will help players get to Level 40 quickly. At this level, players can become a Champion by completing the 2nd advancement quest.
