Ornaments are items which perform a special function. You need to attach them to clothes or weapons before they will have an effect.

You can add grips and embroidery to your weapons as ornamentation. You can do the same for clothes with embroidery and talismans. Insignias can be attached to either clothes or weapons.

Once you have attached an ornament it cannot be removed. Ornaments that have a time limit will simply disappear when the time has elapsed.
