Bearskin Gloves
(Normal):
There is an NPC named Ged Twigborn who hangs around another NPC and they will wander the forest at times. I usually see them in one of two places: either along the same wall as the zone to the commonlands, or by turning on the path off the main road from the sign pointing towards Freeport. Ged will make you some gloves for a price. The Bearskin Gloves cost 25 gold and a high quality bear skin.
Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs.
Reward: Bearskin Gloves
Grim's Tiger Revenge (Normal): If you enter Kith from West Commons, then follow the right wall like you're going to Rivervale, Grim Oakfist is in a house with an innkeeper near the right wall, not too far from the ranger guild.
You must have higher than indifferent faction with the Ashen Order for Grim to give you this quest. He says there are three named tigers in Kithicor that I believe killed his family.
He is here for revenge but cannot hunt them due to the rangers all around Kithicor. He says he will reward you if you bring back the pelts of these tigers. They come in different parts of the woods, one even keeps roaring.
They spawn after you talk to Grim. So the easiest way to find these tigers is with a tracker-- but killing these tigers gives a hit to ranger/druid faction. The tigers are around level 25, but they hit in the 40's and each one drops a strange or unusual tiger pelt.
When you return the three pelts to Grim he thanks you and gives you a Collar of Neshika.
Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Collar of Neshika
Ivy Etched Boots (Normal): 1) Ronium
2) Mistmoore Granite (from gargoyles in Mistmoore)
3) 2000 gp. Reward: Ivy Etched Boots
Ivy Etched Bracer (Normal): You need:
1) The bottom of the rune of ivy (from Orc named Redwind in Everfrost);
2) a watery ring (from a tidal lord in Dagnor's Cauldron)
and 3) 1 fire emerald Reward: Ivy Etched Bracer
Ivy Etched Gauntlets (Normal): Leaf wants to reassemble the legendary Kithicor Bow. Hunt Maldyn Greenburn (a wayward master archer) in the Rathe Mountains by unkempt druids and retreive Broken bow part A, part of Morins Bow of Kithicor. Part B drops from Slaythe the Slayer in Lower Guk. Bring Leaf both parts and he will give you the gauntlets. There seems to be no way to instead combine these yourself to get a new bow. Reward: Ivy Etched Gauntlets
Ivy Etched Helm (Normal): You need:
1) Top of the rune of Ivy (from a deathly usher in Mistmoore)
2( Cyclops charm (from Tarskuk in Rathe Mtns) and
3) 1 Sapphire Reward: Ivy Etched Helm
Ivy Etched Leggings (Normal): For the Ivy Etched Leggings, Leaf Falldim needs a Quiver of Kithicor and a Star of Odus.
The Star can be purchased from Erudin. To get the quiver, go to Kelethin and speak with Lieutenant Leafstalker, who tells you to collect six different arrows: Acknowledgment, Bravery, Defiance, Gallantry, Fortitude, and Recognition. These arrows drop from Outcast Brownies in Lesser Faydark.
Then go to the Ocean of Tears. On Seafury Island, "a buccaneer" spawns as a place holder for Wiltin Windwalker.
Loot the Quiver of Kithicor off Wiltin and combine the six arrows. Return your newly created Quiver to Leaf in Kithicor along with the Star of Odus, and you'll receive your Ivy Etched Leggings.
Need all dialogs, faction hits if any, additional quest rewards if any (money, experience), /loc of quest mobs, any other missing quest information. Reward: Ivy Etched Leggings
Ivy Etched Sleeves (Normal): You need:
1) Heart of fire (from an inferno goblin wizard in Solusek's Eye);
2) left rune of ivy (from griffon grimfether in N Karanas) and
3) 2 star rubies Reward: Ivy Etched Sleeves
Ivy Etched Tunic (Normal): You need:
1)Skull of meldrath (from Steamfont);
2) Right side of the rune of ivy (from brownie named Thistle Underbrush in Lesser Faydark and
3) 2 rubies. Reward: Ivy Etched Tunic
Lionskin Gloves (Normal): There is an NPC named Ged Twigborn who hangs around another NPC and they will wander the forest at times. I usually see them in one of two places: either along the same wall as the zone to the commonlands, or by turning on the path off the main road from the sign pointing towards Freeport.
Ged will make you some gloves for a price. The lionskin gloves cost 96 gold and a high quality lion skin.
In order to get the lionskin gloves, you need a high faction with Ged, which you can get by killing Shralok Orcs in the Forest. High Quality Lion Skins are dropped by Highland Lions in EK. I have been told that a tiger spawns some times in the south west corner of Kith forest near the orc spawn and gives a high quality skin as well.
Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Lionskin Gloves
Morin's Sword (Normal): Morin Shadowbane, the ranger guildmaster of the forest, sends you on a Quest for the new Ranger only weapon, the Short Sword of Morin. There are two ways to get the sword. (1) If you trade in an Ebony Bladed Sword to Morin, you will get a Short Sword of Morin , a Ranger only weapon; or (2) Morin will also tell you that he will give you his personal sword if you find and kill the Ghoul Messenger, who is located "between Kithicor and the Karanas" and bring back his note, or whatever he drops. The messenger spawns somewhere in Western Karana, is tough to anyone not in his 30's, and is always running. He drops a map of Kithicor. Take that map back and you will also receive the sword. You get the same sword for doing this as for trading the Ebony Bladed Sword. He then might tell you about the Quest for the Orc Impaler, which I have listed under Lesser Faydark quests.
Need all dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Short Sword of Morin
Ratskin Gloves (Normal): There is an NPC named Ged Twigborn who hangs around another NPC and they will wander the forest at times. I usually see them in one of two places: either along the same wall as the zone to the commonlands, or by turning on the path off the main road from the sign pointing towards Freeport.
Ged will make you some gloves for a price. The Ratskin Gloves cost 6 gold and a giant rat pelt (ac 3 , negative 5 charisma)
Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Ratskin Gloves
Stanos' Head (Normal): This is actually a subquest of the Rogue Epic quest, but since it has it's own reward, I'm listing it separately. General V'ghera is a triggered spawn.
Ask General V'ghera about Stanos and he says:
"Stanos? Stanos!! That dog, I WILL see him dead for what he cost me. Outcast I am, stripped of my position, my god has forsaken me, blaming ME for the loss of some tome. And you, Melchiord, you have aided him. For that, you will die first. Please, struggle and beg, I do so enjoy watching my victims squirm, and I have little joy left in my life now. If you want my favor, perhaps if you came bearing Stanos' head I would be more forgiving. But I doubt it."
Head over to Highpass and kill Stanos (bring lots of friends) and loot his head. When you bring it back to V'ghera, you get a nice reward.
Reward: Guise of the Coercer
The Orc Impaler (Normal): This initiates with Morin in Kithicor after you do the short sword of Morin quest, but most of the quest takes place in Lesser Faydark.
Tell Bryn (wood elf camp in LFay) that "Morin sent me" and he'll tell you that the shadowmen are invading and need to be stopped. He sends you to kill the Shadowman Leader who spawns along the north wall in Lesser Faydark around 1800, -400. He's high 30's and has a 25 min placeholder, so it may be a long camp. Kill him and he sometimes drops a book, which you need to return to Bryn. When you give him the book, Glidara Myllar spawns by the undead marker. Bryn tells you to give her a note. Give her the note and she gives you a ring ( 5 magic save) to return to her along with a Ghoul Boss codebook.
The Ghoul Boss is a rare spawn at the Undead Marker in the place of a Skeleton (despite being called a ghoul, he looks like a skeleton and needs to be targetted to find out who he is). He's mid 30's. Kill him and he drops the book. Return the book and ring to Gilindar and she gives you a note to take back to Morin, in Kithicor. Give to him and he gives you a note to take back to Bryn. Give this last note to Bryn and you get their finest weaponry: The Orc Impaler.
A shortcut to do this is to kill the ghoul boss first, then go after the Shadowman Leader. Then turn in the Leader's Code Book to Bryn, get the ring from Glidara Myllar, and promptly return it with the Ghoul Boss's Logbook.
Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Orc Impaler
Trick or Treat for the Old Man (Normal): Old Man Draykey may be found in the northwest corner of the zone at 1915, 4535.
You say, 'Hail, Old Man Draykey'.
Old Man Draykey says 'Greetings, ______! Have you [come to participate] in the festivities?'
You say, 'I have come to participate.'
Old Man Draykey says 'Excellent, excellent! For those of you that enjoy trick-or-treating I have set up an event beyond anything you have done before. I will have convinced ten...well beings...not all of them are really people, to help with this. It's a very tricky endeavor, with highly complex [instructions]. Prepare yourself and then I will reveal the secrets to you.'
You say, 'What instructions?'
Old Man Draykey says 'First of all you need to know how to properly speak with these people. Once you find them, you simply need to say 'Trick or treat', and see what they have to say in return. I have compiled a list of my helpers around Norrath and have written them down in my book. As I have said, there are ten people each with a piece of candy you'll need to collect. Once you've collected all ten return to me with the full bag.'
You will receive his Draykey's Codex, a book of hints as to where to find the mobs, and a Trick-or-Treat Bag, a 10-slot GIANT container. The Codex reads:
Search out those that have treats for you. Here is a small list of clues as to where they can be found.
1. Hiding in the bushes of the dead house.
2. The pinnacle of enlightenment.
3. He's not Slate, but he's close.
4. Wanders in a pit in the land of his kind.
5. A short man in an icy land, food can be found in his hands.
6. Lurking in the forest near a feline retreat.
7. He found out the hard way that drinking and swordplay do not mix.
8. Hidden away in the caves of his lair.
9. Toiling in the fields of the gnoll's family.
10. He's fallen down the stairs, but it's been kept under wraps.
The goal of the quest is to /target and say "trick or treat" to these ten NPCs:
Zone - Name - Item Received
- Unrest - Crabby the Rotten (found in either of the hedge mazes) - Candy Jack-o-Lantern
Crabby the Rotten says 'Gimme gimme gimme. . .You people make me sick! Here's your nasty little treat, now leave me be.' - Plane of Knowledge - Grand Librarian Maelin (top of the library) - Jawbreaker
You say, 'Trick or treat.'
Grand Librarian Maelin says 'Ah, here you go. Fresh from the Sugar Assembalage 2000.' - East Commonlands - Sergeant Ragus (wanders along and around the path) - Rock Candy
Sergeant Ragus says 'Hah! Here's the tastiest treat of them all! Enjoy!' - Field of Bone - Immug Lashtail (named iksar skeleton wandering the pit) - Gummie Kobolds
Immug Lashtail says 'Why is it that you people keep pestering me for these? Here's your treat, now tell everyone else they can find me off under the ocean or some nonsense.' - Iceclad Ocean - Nilham the Chef (sitting inside igloo in gnome village) - Chocolate Coin
Nilham the Chef says 'Can ya believe the Cap'n thought these were real when I first started handing them out? Hah! At least he did until they melted in his pocket!' - Toxxulia Forest - Fuzz (stands on beach/west wall of the zone on the same side as Kerra Isle zoneline) - Carmel Apples [sic]
Fuzz Selppa says 'Careful with these, or they'll get stuck in your teeth!' - Castle Mistmoore - Nate (stands in back of the graveyard) - Fairy Fizzles
Nate says 'Well, it's not ale but you'll just have to deal with that. . .By the by did you happen to bring any ale with you?' - Netherbian Lair - Poil Lolp (in any cave, standing still) - Lollipop (note its name is an anagram)
Poil Lolp says 'Brave of you to have come back into the dark cave. Braver still if you try this treat. . .' - West Karana - Scary Miller (wanders the field of the Miller family farm) - Candy Corn
Scary Miller says 'Here's something from one of our more unusual crops, see what you think.' - Befallen - Wraps McGee (locked room on bottom floor, kill "a shadowknight" to get the key) - Tasty Candy
Wraps McGee says 'Here I'll just wrap this up for you. . . Get it? Hahaha!'
Note that sometimes the NPC will "trick" you and give you something like Coal, Sand, or Pocket Lint. If you receive a "trick" instead of the "treat," the NPC will not despawn, however, so zone out and back in and say "trick or treat" again. Repeat this until you get the treat.
Combine all ten treats in the bag to get a Full Trick-or-Treat Bag. Give this to Old Man Draykey.
Old Man Draykey says 'Ah ha! You've found them all! Excellent work, here's a bit of candy for you and something else as well. Enjoy!'
You receive a Bristlebane's Ticket of Admission and five stacked snack-size stat food. The food you receive may be level-dependent (need confirmation).
Rumor has it that Old Man Draykey is one of (four? five?) NPCs that Zigan Ribshard in the Plane of Knowledge (goblin near the Field of Bone portal) hints about. After completing each of their quests you are given a ticket of admission. Hand in all the tickets to a "Puppet" guy in Kithicor to receive a monster mission (need confirmation).
Need all dialogues, faction hits if any, /loc and actual in-game name of each mob, confirmation of larger quest and its details. Reward: Bristlebane's Ticket of Admission
Reward: Caramel-Coated Candy Apple
Reward: Delicious Pumpkin Bread
Reward: Tasty Sugar Pop
Reward: Sweetened Gummy Bears
Wolfskin Gloves (Normal): There is an NPC named Ged Twigborn who wanders the forest. He can usually be spotted in one of two places: Either along the same wall as the zone to the Commonlands, or by turning on the path off the main road from the sign pointing towards Freeport.
Ged will make you some Wolfskin Gloves if you give him 13 gold and a high quality wolf pelt. Reward: Wolfskin Gloves
