Tovan Tenlah says 'Ready to get to work are you? Listen carefully. Outside Freeports South gate you will find one of our employees, Rigg Nostra, who is acting as an intermediary between the Coalition of Tradefolk and some recently acquired business associates. Give him this card so he knows I've sent you and he will give you further instructions. Do not mention any of our names in public. The Freeport Militia would likely impose high taxes on the Coalition if they found out about the goods being exchanged to us by our new associates.'

To find Rigg Nostra, exit the south gate and turn right. Hand him the card.

Rigg Nostra says 'Excellent I've been waiting for the Coalition to send me some assistance. I have an associate waiting for some supplies that have not yet been collected. After you get the pick heads and the shafts (by killing or as Rigg put it "convincing" them to "donate") you hand them to Rigg Nostra, who gives you a Filled Crate of Mining Supplies and tells you to give it to the "man in green behind you". Turn around and give the crate to the orc standing behind you (he despawns after you give him it) and he hands you a blue gem.

They say that ghostly chants can be heard coming out of the theater at night. It has made them afraid to walk the streets at night. Not me though! [I'm not afraid] of any ghosts. '

You say, 'I'm not afraid either'

The incompetent Freeport Militia has yet to capture these wanted followers of the Mar twins. We will wait for their capture no longer. Seek this Raenna Griff individual and slay her. Kill Raenna Griff and loot her head. March back to East Freeport and drop the head off with your pal Gunex.

Gunex Eklar grins wickedly. 'It took you long enough. I wonder if the Militia will be able to identify the body minus its head. Take this Dull Dismal Long Sword and sharpen it in a forge with a sharpening stone. It may take you several attempts if you are unfamiliar with the process. Brutol Rhaksen says 'You must become strong to survive amongst the ranks of the Dismal Rage. Take this note to Rolfic Gohar and he will help you get a suit of armor to protect your scrawny hide from the weapons of our enemies. Once you have been properly outfitted return to me and will give you your [next orders].'

Rolfic Gohar is outside the Dismal Rage building. Hand him the note.

Rolfic Gohar says 'I see now we have similar interests. I will help you get outfitted in an affordable suit of armor to help you in your endeavors. You will need this Mail Assembly Kit to aid you in the construction of the armor. The materials required depend on the armor section you desire to craft. Do you plan to construct a [dismal warrior helm], a [dismal warrior bracer], [dismal warrior gauntlets], [dismal warrior boots], [dismal warrior vambraces], [dismal warrior greaves], or a [dismal warrior breastplate].'

You say, 'I want to craft dismal warrior vambraces'

Rolfic Gohar says 'To assemble Dismal Warrior Vambraces you will need to obtain two bricks of crude iron and smelt them in a [forge] with a Water Flask and this Crude Vambrace Mold. Once that is done combine the Crude Iron Vambraces with a Low Quality Coyote Pelt and two Desert Tarantula Patella in the Mail Assembly Kit.'

Exterminate the Vermin (Freeport East) (Normal): Exterminator Larkey wants four rat whiskers from the many instances of A Rodent running around. You get faction hits and a small cash reward.

Fabian says 'Greetings, merry gentlefolk! If you enjoy the music, please feel free to cross my palm with gold.'

You say, 'Hail, Sansa Nusk'

Sansa Nusk says 'Hello.. Welcome to the Wind Spirit's Song. I'm Sansa, and I help out the local bards here.'

You say, 'Who is fabian?'

Sansa Nusk says 'Ahh - jolly Fabian. He is one of our best customers! That is, of course, due to the fact that he has the heaviest fingers of any bard I know. Anyhow, down to business. I assume he sent you for a new set of strings. Unfortunately, I have not been able to procure any of the special - uhh - things needed to make his strings lately.'

You say, 'What special things?'

Sansa Nusk says 'Uhh - ummm - uhhh - Fabian does not know this, but his strings are - uh - made of - uh - troll guts.'

You say, 'Where do I get troll guts?'

Sansa Nusk says 'Well, Fabian likes the thick resonance that only troll gut strings can provide. Trouble is, trolls are scarce around these parts,
thank the gods, but Fabian breaks his strings as fast as I find suppliers. Trolls sometimes wander the Karanas in search of food but that is so rare, to see
one there. Anyhow, if you find one out in the Karanas, bring me his gut and I can make the strings to take to Fabian.'

[You need a "bag of troll guts" which drops off Zahil the Vile in North Karana. Hand them into Sansa.]

Sansa Nusk says 'Good work! Now have you the rest of what I require?'

[Hand Sansa 1 platinum.]

Going Postal (East Freeport) (Normal): This quest covers every town in Norrath, as well as some non-town areas. The reward varies (at whim) between 1gp and 12gp, with values in the middle more usual. With a couple of deliveries, low-level characters could get a few platinum easily. Bards with Selo's Accelerando are really in good shape, as some of these routes can be done in only a few minutes. The quest is sponsored by the League of Antonican Bards. Faction hits are League of Antonican Bards, Knights of Truth, and Guards of Qeynos get better, RingofScale and Mayong Mistmoore get worse.

In this version, you are asked to deliver the mail to either Eve Marsinger in South Qeynos, Idia in Kelethin or Lislia Goldtune in Highpass, depending on what you are given.

For each variant, need all dialogues for each variation, current faction hits, /loc of quest mobs, missing quest items (including in-game ID's if possible).
Groflah Steadirt's Death (Normal): Netuk Phenzon at the shadowknight's guild says that Lord Innoruuk has need of your services. Your [mission] concerns a man named Groflah Steadirt. Groflah has come into possession of a piece of parchment that was taken from one of the Dismal Rage's allies (whose identity is not your concern). You are instructed to find Groflah and kill him, while returning the note to Netuk. Doing this will improve your standing with the Dismal Rage and Opal Darkbriar and lower it with the Knights of Truth. As a side note, it's interesting to see that Verant has staged two totally opposite classes with opposing quests. Loot the note from his corpse, and return it and receive a random item as a reward.

Groflah Steadirt spawns in West Freeport at approximate location 415, -1635 (in the smithing building).

Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs, list of additional quest rewards.
Illusion Cards (Unsolved): I don't know of anyone who has even tried to complete this quest. In fact it may no longer be in the game, since nobody can seem to find this NPC anymore (I'm not sure of his name). There is a collector in Freeport seeking 14 rare Illusion cards. What he will give for these cards in uncertain. To check if a card is truly an illusion card, cast identify on it. Also, the cards have similar names to Magic the Gathering cards. So far I have only verified 4 of cards. They are: 1)Chrono Cyclone, 2)Ebon Lotus, 3)Diamond Vale, 4)Library of Erudin (all four dropped by Cheslin in Qeynos Hills). There are two others I 'm not sure of: Silver (from steamfont) and Oracle (loot in Crushbone). The playing cards dealt by various NPC's (king, queen, jack, knight, joker) are not illusion cards.

Need all quest details (including whether it still exists or not): dialogues, /loc and names of quest mobs, faction hits if any, exact names of quest items, quest reward(s).
Jasmine's Big Predicament (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Jasmine Yiur'

Jasmine Yiur says 'Oh, hello.' Jasmine lowers her head. 'Sorry, I am not really in best form today. I am in a bit of a [big predicament].'

You say, 'What big predicament?'

Jasmine Yiur says 'I work for the League of Antonican Bards. As you may or may not know, we are sometimes tasked with the delivery of mail to various cities around Norrath. A shipment of mail was to be delivered from here to Qeynos. It was supposed to arrive several days ago but I have received word that it never arrived. I have recently been informed by the guards that the ship was stolen before it could leave port. The guards reported seeing a large number of trolls board the ship and sail away with it in the dead of the night. The League and myself would be most appreciative of such a brave adventurer's [help].'

You say, 'I will help.'

Jasmine Yiur gives you a warm smile. 'That is the first time I have smiled in days, this mess has me so worried. Not only are we missing the mail but now an entire ship. Please take this note to Guard Bribbely. He is probably still near the docks investigating this matter.'

She hands you A Note to Guard Bribbely. Guard Bribbely wanders around East Freeport near the docks and east gate. Hand him the note.

Guard Bribbely says 'Yes, what is it, citizen?' Bribbely reads the note from Jasmine. 'Great, just what I need.' Guard Bribbely sighs. 'I have been a member of the guard for twenty years, investigating countless thefts and other crimes against Freeport and you think you can just waltz in here and solve this? You adventurers are all the same. Ok, 'investigator', if you think you are so smart, here is what we know so far: After the trolls attacked the ship, one of them was left behind and captured by us. After being beat, er questioned, the troll eventually told us that they were from Broken Skull Rock and that is probably where they took our captured ship. He didn't know about any mail, but says that any loot onboard was most likely taken to the [Crypts of Nadox] to await distribution by treasure sorters to the trolls there as payment. Further questioning revealed that a ship on the shores of Stonebrunt can take people to Broken Skull.'

You say, 'What Crypts of Nadox?'

Guard Bribbely says 'How am I supposed to know? Sounds like some darn troll lair. You're the adventurer, why don't you go investigate it. I will stay here to look for more clues.'

A Bundle of Mail occasionally drops from treasure sorters in the Crypt of Nadox. Hand it to Jasmine Yiur.

Jasmine Yiur says 'I am so happy to see that you have returned, and with the mail! You are truly a hero. I will make certain that the other members of the League hear about you. You didn't find the missing ship you say? Guard Bribbely will not be pleased, but you did all that you could. Please take this for payment of your brave deeds. May we meet again.' Reward: Seawind Necklace

Message Intercept (Normal): Raltur Caliskon, in the Shadowknight Guild, asks you to [serve] your Lord, Innoruuk. He explains that much like the Dark Elves of Neriak use trolls and ogres as pawns, so does the Dismal Rage (the shadowknight guild) use the Freeport Militia.

Raltur wants you to report to Sir Lucan D`Lere himself (found elsewhere in East Freeport (/loc?)), and tell him that you [are from the Shrine of Innoruuk]. You are instructed to do whatever Sir Lucan asks, because after all, little favors lead to large debts. Most importantly, if you find something important, you are to bring it to him, not Sir Lucan.

Talking to Sir Lucan reveals a different attitude as he berates the Dismal Rage for being slow to send an agent. He even threatens to have them broken up and jailed. Finally he tells you that his guards have reported that there is a messenger from Qeynos staying at an Inn on the western edge of the Commonlands. You are to go and intercept this message. In fact you must kill Mojax Hikspin, who is sitting on the south ridge of the lake in the western Commonlands. He has the message that was meant for the Knights of Truth.

If you bring this message to Raltur Caliskon in the Shadowknights guild he will give you a low level spell and another quest to kill the traitor (see traitor quest below).

Need all dialogues, current faction hits, /loc of quest mobs, missing items, list of quest rewards.

Cartographer Piri says 'Hail, traveler! Would you have a moment? I'm in need of some assistance.'

You say, 'Yes'

Cartographer Piri says 'Thank you! I'll make it worth your while. I recently discovered the remains of an odd little map that may detail the distant Gulf of Gunthak. The map itself, however, is in a horrible state. . .a suspiciously horrible state if you ask me. Much of it is [missing].'

You say, 'Missing?'

Cartographer Piri says 'The pirates of Broken Skull Rock have purposefully destroyed any accurate maps to protect the secrecy of their base. Three key parts are damaged. The compass notation, the legend and the coordinate label are all gone. Take this Cartography Binder. Use it to [collect] the fragments.'

You say, 'I will collect the fragments'

Cartographer Piri says 'No doubt the pirates will have some of the fragments. Search Broken Skull Rock, paying careful attention to Gunthak and Dulak Harbor. An accurate map must be made. It is the first step in breaking the pirates' hold on the region. Good luck.'

Cartographer Piri gives you a 'Cartography Binder'. The parts needed for this quest are 'A Map Legend', 'A Coordinate Label' and 'A Compass Notation'. All of these items were found on random mobs in Dulak's Harbor.

Combine 'A Map Legend', 'A Coordinate Label' and 'A Compass Notation' in the 'Cartography Binder' to make a 'Completed Cartography Binder'.

Return to Cartographer Piri with the 'Completed Cartography Binder' to recieve a 'Skyfall Seeker'.

Cartographer Piri says 'Incredible! With a little work, I will be able to create a finished map of the Gulf of Gunthak. No longer will the pirates be able to keep their lair a secret. Thank you! Please take this as a reward for your efforts.'

You say, 'Hail, Knight Champion Eddard'

Knight Champion Eddard says, 'Greetings traveler, have you come to [brave the challenges] of the arena'

You say, 'I have come to brave the challenges of the arena'

A task window pops up. (text and further dialogue needed)

To start the event, tell Knight Champion Eddard that you are ready. You will be teleported in to an instanced version of the Freeport Arena.

Once in you will see Knight Champion Eddard on the entrance. Hail him and recieve a charm, Arena Champion's Badge, which will "improve as you defeat each challenge in the arena."

Knight Champion Eddard says, 'Your next challenge is [ready] when you are.
Prepare yourselves well. However, if you wish to [leave] it can be arranged. I can also allow you to resume your battles from [beginning] once more. Be aware that your current progress will be wiped clean if you do so.'

You say, 'I am ready' (a wave of mobs will spawn)

You say, 'We wish to leave' (you will zone out instantly)

You say, 'We wish to start from the beginning' (your arena flags will be cleared)

There are 41 waves of mobs. Each wave scales in mob level. The first wave consists of green-conning mobs, while mobs hit for 2500 towards the end.

The Burning Dead (Incomplete): This ultimately leads to the creation of the Wand of the Burning Dead. My details are stilll sketchy. Talk to Opal Darkbriar in the Freeport tunnels and ask her about the wand. She needs three things to help assemble the broken wand. The first is Marnek's Wand, which can be found in the bottom level of Befallen. The second is the Sapphire of Souls, which can be found in Najena. I am not sure what the third is. Bring these to Opal and you should get the wand. You need a very high faction to get this quest.

Need all dialogues, current faction hits if any, quest items, name/level/loc/fight abilities of quest mobs, additional zones if any, quest steps, and any other information required to complete quest. Reward: Wand of the Burning Dead

The Frikniller Family (Normal): Gren Frikniller is a bodyguard for the rogue guildmaster in East Freeport. Ask him about his sister (they share the same surname):

You say, 'Who is Falia?'

Gren Frikniller says 'Ah, my sister Falia has traveled here all the way from Rivervale. I hear that she's been staying up in North Freeport, but I haven't had a chance to find her yet. If you get some spare time, could you take this letter to her for me? Thanks, _____, you're really not so bad after all.'

Take the letter to Falia Frikniller in West Freeport. Note she is on Merchants of Rivervale faction and may not deal with you if your faction is too low (indifferent works):

You say, 'Hail, Falia Frikniller'

Falia Frikniller says 'Aye, hello there, friend! How are ye on this fine day? A beautiful day to be alive, I must say! Anyway, I just got into Freeport last month. Wow, is this city big! Way bigger than humble little Rivervale. That's where I'm from. I'm working on setting up my own little business here, Falia's Foot Combs and Footwear, it'll be called. But, I don't have anything to sell yet, so check back in a couple of weeks. Safe travels to ye, friend.'

Hand her the letter:

Falia Frikniller says 'Heh, that good for nothing fool. I've been here for over a month already, and I haven't seen him yet. Bah, anyway, could you take this back to him for me? It was our grandfather's lucky necklace. He passed it down to our father, and now onto my brother. Knowing that little worm, Grenny, he'll probably trade it for a mug of ale. Oh well, thanks for delivering the letter, friend. Good day to you, and safe travels.'

You gain experience!!

Receive a Broken Heirloom in return, which you can take to Gren:

Gren Frikniller says 'What's this? Oh, ol' Grandpa Frikniller's lucky necklace, huh? I'll bet this broken piece of junk won't even get me a sip of ale up at the bar. And lucky? How lucky could this thing be? Poor gramps was lonely and copperless his whole life. Bah!! Oh, well. Here's some coin for your efforts, thanks, _____'

Your faction standing with Coalition of Tradefolk Underground got better.
Your faction standing with Coalition of Tradefolk got better.
Your faction standing with Carson McCabe got better.
Your faction standing with Corrupt Qeynos Guards got better.
Your faction standing with The Freeport Militia got better.
You gain experience!!
You receive 6 copper from Gren Frikniller.

The Lottery Ticket (Normal): This is a part of the Princess Lenya quest, but is nice in its own right. In East Freeport go into Hallard's Resales (located on the left at the top of the ramp down to the "bad" part of E Freeport) and talk to Tohsan Hallard (Loc: -970, 20).

You say, 'Hail, Tohsan Hallard'

Tohsan Hallard says 'Greetings and welcome to Hallard's! You will find many aged weapons begging you to shine them up and make them great once more. We will gladly pay you top dollar for any rusty weapons you may have found littering the Commonlands. I have a [special offer] for those who have obtained orc pawn picks.'

You say, 'what special offer?'

Tohsan Hallard says 'I will pay some silver pieces for every four orc pawn picks returned to me. I shall also throw in a ticket to the Highpass Hold lottery. It could be a winner!!'

You get the following faction changes for turning in the picks:

Coalition of Tradesfolk
Knights of Truth
Merchants of Qeynos
Coalition of Tradesfolk Underground

No factions go down.

Tohsan Hallard says 'As I promised, some silver and of course, the Highpass lottery ticket. Oh yes, I forgot to mention the ticket was for last season's lottery. Ha Ha!! You now own a losing Highpass lottery ticket, lucky you! Ha!!'

Possible tickets are:

Lottery Ticket # 14001
Lottery Ticket # 14350
Lottery Ticket # 15600
Lottery Ticket # 15601
Lottery Ticket # 15602
Lottery Ticket # 16568

Take your new lottery ticket to Highkeep to the basement near the bank. Go talk to the person near the bank (not the banker) about something like the "highkeep lottery" and he will send you to talk to Casino Treasurer Lynn who is nearby. The treasurer says that last year's winner never came forward, but gives the winning ticket number and says something about it being a person from Freeport. Some tickets get you nothing, some are a "runner-up" and gets you a few coins and tiny amount of XP. If the winning number that he gives you is on one of the tickets, you get the key to the Royal Suite on the 3rd floor, a NO TRADE lore item. This leads you into the Princess Lenya quest.

Need Highkeep dialogues, any Highkeep faction hits, /loc of quest mobs, missing quest items. Reward: Highkeep Royal Suite

The Realm of Heroes -- East Freeport (Normal): You say, 'hail Malloy the Songbird'

Malloy the Songbird says 'Hello Dryanna ! I am Malloy the Songbird. Are you just [traveling] through, or would you like to hear a [song] of my adventures?

You say, 'what song'

Malloy the Songbird says 'Ah well, I'm sorry, I do not have time to sing my joyful and mournful songs today. I have traveled back to Norrath from the Hall of the Realm of Heroes to reward those that perform heroic acts in the eyes of the gods. Perhaps if you come back later, I may have time for a song or two.

You say, 'what if i am traveling'

Malloy the Songbird says 'Very well then, Good Luck to you on your travels. If you journey to Qeynos, you may want to speak to Jaylia the Faithful. She has adventures of her own that she may wish to tell you.

You say, 'what of the realm of heroes'

You say, 'what of your adventures'

The Traitor (Normal): After intercepting the message for Sir Lucan D'Lere, he gives you the assignment to kill the traitor mentioned in the note and return his militia tunic. The traitor's name is Guard Alayle, and he is in the Freeport Militia House's backyard. You may have to kill him several times before he will give you a tunic.

Need all dialogues, current faction hits, /loc of quest mobs, missing items, list of quest rewards.
Tonics for Groflah (Normal): Apparently Groflah Steadirt has a thirst for tumpy tonics. If you catch him at the Seafarers Roost in East Freeport and speak to him there he will tell you that he likes Tumpy tonics. He spawns at about 9PM if he is going to show at all, and despawns at 9AM. I have been told that he is more likely to spawn at the bar if you give him the Zimels Blades list when he is at his store. Tumpy Tonics are made with the brewing skill. There is also a quest for them in Kaladim.

Need all dialogues, current faction hits, /loc of quest mobs, list of rewards if any.
Toxdil's Poison (Normal): Toxdil, a Teir'Dal poison vendor in East Freeport, is at the far back room in the walls of the Arena, /loc 905, -415.

You say, 'Hail, Toxdil'

Toxdil says 'Correct, Toxdil is my name. No last name. I swear allegiance to no house nor guild. What brings you down here? Perhaps you seek my [deadly liquid], perhaps not. Whatever your reasons, I warn you to keep an eye out for the militia. They have begun to patrol the sewers.'

You say, 'What deadly liquid?'

Toxdil says 'The deadly liquid I offer to rogues is called snake venom. I will be glad to make it for you, but first you must supply me with two snake venom sacs and my fee of 20 gold pieces. You may find the sacs upon the giant snakes of the Commonlands.'

He wants 2 Snake Venom Sacs and 20 gp and he'll give you a vial of poison.

Need all dialogues, current faction hits, actual items involved, quest rewards.
Warrior Epic: Jagged Blade of War (Normal): Kargak Redblade is standing under a gazebo at -1290, -380. Nearby is a Dwarf named Wenden Blackhammer. They both start the quest.

Red Scabbard

Find Kargak Redblade in East Freeport.

You say, 'Hail, Kargak Redblade'

Kargek Redblade looks up from his forge and says, 'Hello there, can I help you?' Your eyes are drawn to an extremely large red sword scabbard strapped to his back with no sword in it. Kargek speaks again, 'I said, can I help you or do you need help from Wenden?'

You say, 'Tell me about that scabbard.'

Kargek Redblade turns to look at you and says, 'It is a family heirloom. I might tell you the story behind it if you do me a little favor.'

You say, 'What favor?'

Kargek Redblade says 'An associate of mine is wandering somewhere in the Feerrott. His name is Oknoggin Stonesmacker. If you will deliver this note to him, I would appreciate it.'

You receive a Wax Sealed Note. Oknoggin may be found at 800, 1140. Hand him the letter.

Oknoggin Stonesmaker snatches the note from your hand and rips it open with your large hands. 'You take dis to Kargek. He want!' Oknoggin says, as he throws a tiny lute at you.

You receive a Tiny Lute. Run back to East Freeport and give the Tiny Lute to Kargek Redblade to receive a book called Redblade's Legacy. Take the book over to his brother in East Karana - Tenal Redblade, who is at the very end of the canyon next to the ramp to Highpass. Hand him the book and receive a Frozen War Totem.

Go back to East Karana and hand Tenal the Totem of the Freezing War and a Heart of Frost.

Tenal Redblade says 'Very good, you have wreaked havoc on your foes in the ancient land of the giants. Rallos Zek must have guided your blade.' Tenal's voice is suddenly silenced and you feel as if your body is frozen. From Tenal's lips issues a voice that is not his own, 'Bring this mortal the scales of the children of Veeshan. The red and green as well as my war totem. I will guide your blade.' Your movement returns as Tenal falls to the ground, gasping for breath.'
You gain experience!!

He'll give you a Totem of Fiery War.

Now get yourself a Green and Red Dragonscale (from Severilous in Emerald Jungle, and Nagafen in Naggy's Lair respectively).

Go back to Tenal Redblade and give him the Totem of Fiery War, the Green Dragon Scale and the Red Dragon Scale.

Tenal Redblade looks at you oddly as you hand him the scales. 'What are..? You have done well, mortal, and you will be rewarded if you are truly brave. Travel to the Plane of Hatred and slay the ancient bard who lives there. Do not return without his hand and this mark or you will never be a true warlord.' Tenal drops to the ground as the last words leave his lips.
You gain experience!!

You receive The Mark of the Sword.

You'll now need to go to the Plane of Hate and kill the Hand of the Maestro (note: Hand is now pullable without having to kill Maestro of Rancor). You need to loot the hand, which is a rare drop. Bring that back and give it to Tenal along with the mark.

Tenal Redblade looks horrified as you give him the hand of the Maestro of Rancor and show him the mark of the sword. The godlike voice returns, 'You have done well to acquire this. One final task must be completed before you hold the red scabbard in your mortal hands.' Tenal reaches out and hands you a note. 'Take this note and a wingblade of the spiriocs to Kargek. When he receives them, I will speak to you one last time.'

You receive Tenal`s note to Kargek.

You now need a Spiroc Wingblade from the Spiroc Lord in the Plane of Sky. Take the Wingblade and the note to Kargek where he gives you the Red Scabbard and instructions on how to combine the Ancient Blade, Ancient Sword Blade, Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt, and Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt.

Kargek Redblade says 'What is this? A note from my brother? Thank you for the gift as well.' Kargek reads the note and hands you the huge sword hilt. Your mind is filled with the sound of battle and a voice. 'Place the ancient sword blade, ancient blade, finely crafted dragon head hilt and the jeweled dragon head hilt into the scabbard to receive your rewards. If you think you are worthy, place your rewards into the scabbard and see what havoc you can unleash on the world. Kargek addresses you as you turn to leave. 'One more thing. Gartrog over there has told me of a great discovery. Seems there are all sorts of stones being found in the recently discovered lost dungeons scattered around Antonica. The Wayfarer's Brotherhood has found a way to make items even more powerful by using the stones with existing items.'

You gain experience!!

Ancient Sword Blade

Talk to Denken Strongpick on Aviak Island in the Ocean of Tears.

You say, 'Hail, Denken Strongpick'

Denken Strongpick says 'Hello, ______. I am Denken Strongpick. I wish I could get off this rock, silly clan honor. My boss broke our rebreathers and we can not go back to the mainland before we gather some goblin relics.'

You say, 'What goblin relics?'

Denken Strongpick says 'There are supposedly goblin ruins around here somewhere. Fendlemend thinks we will find paydirt underwater. We did find one thing.'

You say, 'What did you find?'

Denken Strongpick says 'We found a very fine sword blade.' Denken pulls open his pack and shows you a razor sharp sword covered with runes. 'I can't figure out what type of metal it is and I sure can't figure out what technique was used to forge it. Perhaps you would like to take it off my hands and [buy] it?'

You say, 'I will buy it.'

Denken Strongpick says 'Out here, money is fairly useless to me. You see, I can't leave Fendlemend out here alone. I signed on with a very detailed contract. I could sure [use] a few things from the mainland though.'

You say, 'What could you use?'

Denken Strongpick says 'I would be willing to part with this very fine blade for; a keg of Vox tail ale, a block of permafrost to keep it cool and two new rebreathers to get this operation back underway.'

a) A Keg of Vox Tail ale - bought from alot of vendors around the world. A good place to buy one is the sandfishers in North Ro or the Freeport Port Authority.

b) A Block Of Permafrost - Dropped by Ice Giants. (while you're here, kill some goblin wizards until you find a frozen goblin heart -- you'll need it later).

c) Two Rebreathers - Tinkered by Gnomes. Expect to drop as much as 4k for getting two rebreathers.

Turn the Rebreathers, Keg of Vox Tail Ale, and the Block of Permafrost in to Denken:

Denken Strongpick says 'Excellent! Here is your sword. I feel like I'm at home already!'
You gain experience!!

You get the Ancient Sword Blade.

Ancient Blade

The Ancient Blade is dropped by the Queen of Chardok. Bring along a large group of friends.

Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt

Head to the chessboard in Timorous Deep. At the base of the King piece you'll find a Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt. Head back to Wenden.

You say, 'Hail, Wenden Blackhammer'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'What do you need? Be specific, I'm busy right now!'

You say, 'I have a Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt.'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'Where in the world did you drag that up?!' Denken peers closely at the severely damaged dragon head hilt. 'This metal is the same material that some mages use to make powerful golems and this other metal looks like rejesiam ore. If you can find some of those materials, I can fix this hilt up easily.'

You say, 'What kind of golems?'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'That metal is used as the 'soul' of powerful magical constructions like golems. I do not know any place in this world where you could find a golem with a living center as powerful as this once was.'

You say, 'What is rejesiam ore?'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'Rejesiam ore is from the lands of Kunark. The mountain giants in the frontier mountains control the only known mine of this great ore. They have built a vast fortress around the mine to protect it. The giants don't particularly like to trade with us smaller folks, but there is one old miner named Mentrax Mountainbone who has traded with me in the past. Go find him and tell him Wenden sent you.'

You'll also need a Ball of Everliving Golem. This drops from the named golems in the Plane of Fear: Fright, Dread and Terror.

Now go to the Dreadlands, to the giant fort just west of Karnor's Castle. You need to kill the Mountain Giant Patriarch and loot a Giant Sized Monocle. Take the Monocle to Frontier Mountains. Get to the giant fort and get inside. When you get to the very end of the Mine you will see the giant named Mentrax Mountainbone.

You say, 'Hail, Mentrax Mountainbone'

Mentrax Mountainbone says 'What be it you want! Go away before I eat you for dinner!'

You say, 'Wenden sent me.'

Mentrax Mountainbone says 'Oh, old Wenden? I guess you be wanting some ore. Well, you can't have none! Not unless you get me a new monocle. No. No. No. Don't even try to talk, you either bring me a new monocle that will fit or no ore for you!'

Hand him the Monocle.

Mentrax Mountainbone says 'Eh, you actually found one! Thank you, ______. Here is a block of ore for you. Just don't let the other giants know.'
You gain experience!!

You receive Rejesiam Ore.

Now run back to East Freeport with the Rejesiam Ore, Ball of Everliving Golem and Damaged Dragon Head Hilt. Give these to Wenden.

Wenden Blackhammer begins to work and hammer away at the hilt pounding the new material into it. You can see the metal shifting and moving in ways you have never seen metal move before. Wenden wipes his brow as he hands you a fantastic looking hilt.

You receive a Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt.

Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt

Head to Lake Rathe and pick up an Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt. It can be found on the lake floor at 2513, 920, underneath the aviak tower. Then head back to Wenden.

You say, 'Hail, Wenden Blackhammer'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'What do you need? Be specific, I'm busy right now!'

You say, 'I have an Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt.'

Wenden Blackhammer says 'That just looks like it's missing some gems. I'm not quite sure what type of gems either but I can tell you two things about them just by the settings. They were all different, and they all were very, very expensive. If I try to put the wrong kind of gems in these slots, it may be ruined forever. I'll do whatever you want, though, just bring me the three gems you want me to try and put in the hilt.'

You'll need to get a Diamond, Black Sapphire, and Jacinth. They drop in various zones (Sebilis, Planes) and can almost always be found for sale in The Bazaar.

Take the Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt, Diamond, Jacinth, and Black Sapphire to Wenden:

Wenden Blackhammer begins to fiddle with the hilt, gently pressing the gems into place. It seems to take forever as you watch in silence. Wenden slowly places the last gem in place and gently bends the settings to hold the gems before he hands it back to you. 'That's a very impressive looking hilt there. The material it is made out of seems strangely familiar,' Wenden says as he turns back to his forge and his other work.

You receive a Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt.

Assembling the Sword

As originally instructed, place the Ancient Sword Blade, Ancient Blade, Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt and the Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt into the Red Scabbard to receive your rewards.

Combining the Jagged Blade of War in the Red Scabbard splits it into the Blade of Strategy and the Blade of Tactics. Combine the two blades in the Red Scabbard to get the two-handed version again.

Warrior Epic: Make it Augmentable (Normal): Gartrog Smitehammer may be found at -1320, -370 post-revamp.

You say, 'Hail, Gartrog Smitehammer'

Gartrog Smitehammer says 'You have heard of the strange stones being recovered from ancient dungeons? It is true. Powerful stones of unknown origins have been discovered as of late in the newly discovered dungeons. I see you wield a warrior's most prized honor. Congratulations on your acquiring such a fine weapon. It holds great power. I worry however if you were to try to augment your new weapon with one of these new stones. I have done some research and it seems the Red Scabbard used to combine and uncombined your weapon, could potentially harm any augmentation you might add. However with the help of Wenden here, we have been able to successfully forge all three versions of your weapon! The scabbard no longer works with them, but we have achieved some nice results by adding various augmentations to them. We could perhaps craft you a new set of weapons if you are [interested].'

You say, 'I am interested.'

Gartrog Smitehammer pulls out a shining smithy's hammer. 'Hand me your Red Scabbard and your Jagged Blade of War. I will supply the rest of the metal since you helped out Kargek with the note from his brother and the gift you gave to him.'

Give him the Red Scabbard and Jagged Blade of War.

Gartrog Smitehammer begins to furiously work the metal. Sparks fly and a faint magical aura seems to surround the immediate area. 'Ah, a fine job! Your new weapons, ______! Good luck on your travels and if you find any of the augmentation stones, you can now use them to make these fine weapons ever finer!'

You receive an augmentable version of the Jagged Blade of War, which can be converted to augmentable versions of the Blade of Strategy and the Blade of Tactics and back again. Reward: Blade of Strategy (augmentable)
Reward: Blade of Tactics (augmentable)
Reward: Jagged Blade of War (augmentable)
