In an effort to curb the n00bs and encourage the newbs (yes there is a difference) heres a few tips that is pure gold on how to level fast, make parties and get buddies on your friends list for future parties. A party if a great way to grind through the levels in a team but you gotta know how to behave.

p.s. excuse the dos and do not's, seems the simplest way to get some core rules down for the beginner.


DO: Politely ask first for a party - ex: "Hi, I am a XXX at level XX do you wish to party?"

DO NOT: Kill something someone is attacking and
....a) Request party
....b) Say "party"
....c) Try and party them when they are in a warehouse/NPC
....d) laugh at them and say "go ahead report me for kill stealing"

DO: Respect the Guardian/Defender

....a) Provide Health pots!
....b) Gift a 7 Day endurance hammer
....c) Gift a repair hammer
....d) Offer to pay for some of their repair bill
....e) give/offer the drops you get to them if you dont have the gold

(a guardian/defenders repair bill cost millions ! they give you xp - you can at least give gold for repair)

DO NOT:

....a) Beg them to power level you!!!!!!!!
....b) Stalk them in guild/public and continuously ask to be power leveled
....c) act like a total fool getting them and their party killed via "over enthusiasm" to gain xp.
....d) Go AFK and not tell anyone! Especially if you are party leader!

DO: respect the party you are in, give it a shot if its a bit shakey but leave if its bad, just excuse yourself first before quitting.

DO NOT: get a party together then drop 1 min in and walk around asking for party from others! very rude.

DO NOT ASK FOR GOLD, try to sell to your teammates drops you just got just pay attention, do your job and have a chat/laugh.

DO: Try and give them a time frame of how long you are on and if you know anyone that can replace your role ask them to join when leaving.

DO NOT attack anything someone else or another party is attacking.

DO Apologize if its an accident and move on (a simple "Sry" is sufficient)

DO understand that parties semi claim areas for a short period of time if they are there first, but they dont own it so try asking if you can work an area and respect the boundaries.

DO NOT push into another's turf in an effort to get all the kills/drops - if they were there working a small area first then thats theirs - respect it and wait till they move on - theres plenty of other places to go and things to do try again later..
