Description Assist Chief Engineer Cid in conducting an analysis of the gaseous emissions in the Dangruf Wadi. Meet with Cid for a more detailed explanation.
Walkthrough PREPARATION
You should be around level 7 for this mission. Obtain a Map of Dangruf Wadi by completing the simple Bastok quest, The Bare Bones. For this quest, trade a bone chip to Degenhard in Bastok Markets (I-10). Bone chips drop off any skeleton mob, or can be bought cheap from the Auction House under ¡°Bonecraft.¡±

MISSION WALKTHROUGH
After accepting the mission, head to Metalworks and speak to Cid at (H-8), the second floor of Cid¡¯s lab. He will give you a key item, Blue Acidity Tester, and will tell you to travel to Dangruf Wadi and test the water with it.

Head out to South Gustaberg, and zone into Dangruf Wadi at (D-9) on the western side of the map. In Dangruf Wadi, go to the geyser at (I-8), and stand on it until it shoots you up to the upper ledge. Be wary of the goblins around you, as they may aggro if you are a low level. Next, check your key items again and see if the Blue Acidity Tester has changed into a Red Acidity Tester. If it has, return to Cid to complete the mission.
