Description You are to investigate the Zilart ruins of Ro'Maeve. Chief Engineer Cid has more details.
Walkthrough PREPARATION
Trade 4 stacks of crystals to a gate guard to be offered the mission. This mission involves a boss fight against two Golem NMs, so form a solid party of 65 jobs. The Golems can also be soloed by a number of different 75 jobs using the Sneak-pull method. Since you will be traveling to Ro’Maeve, bring along some form of Sneak to avoid aggro, but also note that several of the monsters in the area will aggro to magic, so be careful when casting or bring Silent Oils. Also, purchase a Map of the Li’Telor Region from Ludwig in Mhaura (H-9).

MISSION WALKTHROUGH
After accepting the mission from a gate guard, go speak with Cid in Metalworks (H-8) for more information. You will be sent to Ro’Maeve to do some investigating.

You can enter Ro’Maeve from the Sanctuary of Zi’Tah at (F-5). In Ro’Maeve, search for a ???, which can be found at any of these locations:

Once you’ve found the ???, clear the area of all mobs to avoid any unnecessary aggro. When your party is ready, click the ??? to spawn two Golem NMs, both called Mokkurkalfi. It is best to Sneak-pull one of the Golems for an easier fight. And of course, make sure the Golem that wasn’t pulled despawns before killing the pulled on. After the Golems are defeated, search around for the ??? again, which will likely have moved to a different location. When you find it, check it for a key item, Reinforced Cermet.

Report back to Cid in Metalworks to complete the mission.
