Dear fellow pirates,

The concerns of our players’ are our concerns too! So we want to address some of the most frequently asked questions here and now for your reference.

Q1: When will Version 2.0 be launched? Only Level 90 players can access Winter Islands?
A1: Version 2.0 will be available in a few weeks. With all the new content, some players’ computers might not be equipped to handle it properly, so we’ve decided to release it gradually in several parts. The first map we’ll be releasing is the Winter Islands Map and the Celtic Heartland PK Map. Players should complete the required quests to be eligible to access them. At present, we know only Level 90 players can participate in this quest.

Q2: Why was the Medium Level Club’s reward, Million Dollar Note, changed?
A2: Recently, because some players had been overusing the rewards system, the gold supply exceeded normal levels. Unfortunately, this creates in-game currency inflation causing players to pay abnormally high prices for items and making new players, or those not benefiting, upset. After some consideration we’ve decided to replace the Million Dollar Note with an item of high value, Fried Dough. We found it won’t apply to all classes, so we will make some necessary adjustments soon.

Q3: How to prevent club members from leaving the club?
A3: Currently there is no restriction on members’ leaving the Pirate Club because the club was created as an open place where players are free to come and go. We hope our Captains and other members will be able to establish mutual understanding and trust, and get along freely. This is a key point in resolving the problem. More importantly, we never want to see a Captain directly level up his member’s characters.

Q4: The 2nd TOP anniversary is quickly approaching. Are there any celebrations planned?
A4: Yeah, the TOP officials will be holding a series of wonderful events for our players, including players who have devoted their cash, players who have paid their efforts, new players and veteran players as well. Stay tuned to our official announcements for more good news. ^^

Q5: Why is the Black Dragon Gem sold in the Item Mall?
A5: On some servers the Black Dragon is monopolized by a few big guilds, so we’ve received many complaints about these monopolies, while some players have even lost interest in playing the game. We would say it is one of the important reasons why we’ve decided to put the Black Dragon Gem in the Item Mall, at a limited amount.

Q6: How to handle the Player Cops who misuse their responsibilities?
A6: We were upset to hear that a few Player Cops didn’t handle their duties responsibly, but fortunately they didn’t actually do any damage. We found most of our Player Cops did a good job, and became strong force for justice in game. We really appreciate these players’ contributions.

We’re concerned about what our players’ are concerned about and we strive to provide more considerate service to our players. We are not independent entities, even players from a different server are still part of the larger overall TOP community.

We want to see all our players succeed, not just a few top players. More captains have won BD Torso in game. They deserve these rewards because of their hard work and efforts. Watching our community grow, whether through good times or bad, is what makes us happy. So we’ll do our part for the community by continuing to improve the game, and you do your part and enjoy playing TOP.
