PART 1

Club vs Dagger

We shall compare Super level 110 attack equipment to figure out wether or not Daggers and Penetration will ever be equal or comparable to Clubs and Rage.

Sword/Dagger user.
Lv110 Super Sword (main hand)
Lv110 Super Dagger (left hand)
Lv110 Super Attack Ring
Strength at level 110 is 170.

1250+326+860+170=2606
The Max attack for a Sword/Dagger user is 2606.

Club/Club user.
Lv110 Super Club (main hand)
Lv110 Super Club (left hand)
Lv110 Super Attack Ring
Strength at level 110 is 170.

2150+1075+860+170=4255
The Max attack for Club/Club user is 4255.

So hands down Club reigns supreme for raw damage, an obvious well known fact to say the least.

Lets look further now to the weapon skills which truely defines the worth and usefullness of the actually weapons.

Penetration: Ignores Defence to some degree. Has a low activation rate, and takes forever+infinity to Fix it. Hits very hard when it does activate.

Rage: King of Leveling weapon. Area of effect and fixes after killing 1-3 monsters. Does not ignore armor but the base stats of clubs have so much damage it really doesnt matter.

Now lets plug in the numbers we got above with certain levels of each weapon skill.

Since anyone who is level 110 and uses clubs will have Fixed Rage we shall use level 9 Rage in this Test.

Fixed Rage goes off 45% of the time and adds x1.45 additional bonus damage.

Club/Club User w/ Fixed Rage
4255x1.45=~6170

Level 4 Penetration goes off 12% of the time and adds x1.90 additional bonus damage.

Sword/Dagger User w/ Level 4 Penetration
2606x1.90=~4952

That is some nice damage considering daggers have outrageously low attack power. Lets see exactly what level of Penetration actually surpasses the Max attack power of a Club/Club user.

Lv 7 Penetration goes of 13% of the time and adds x2.20 additional bonus damage.

Sword/Dagger user w/ Lv 7 Penetration
2606x2.2=~5733

Sword/Daggger userw/ Lv 9 Penetration
2606x2.4=~6255


So in conclusion, clubs/clubs with NO PLUSES on any of the attack gear and no dragon gems inside of the equipment are SUPERIOR to sword/dagger users in relation to weapon skills UNTIL penetration is FIXED.

However, you will be surprised how the numbers changed when you throw in Super Dragon Gems and PLUSES on the items in the instance of both users.
PART 2

In this test we shall use +damage on level 110 weapons with +6 and +3. We shall also use +damage of +2 attack ring.

Lv110 +6 bonus damage=550
Lv110 +3 bonus damage=275
Lv110 Ring +2 bonus damage=183

Let us also use Super Dragon Gems equipped to 75%. Thats about 5 super dragon gems.

We shall use the same exact number displayed in part one to maintain CONSISTENCY. The only thing we will be adding to the equation is +damage and dragon gem damage.

Club/Club User with the +damage listed above and super dragon gem listed above.

2150+1075+860+170+550+275+183(1+.75)=9210
The Max attack for Club/Club user is 9210 with plus damage and dragon bonus.

Sword/Dagger User with the +damage listed above and super dragon gem listed above.

1250+326+860+170+550+275+183(1+.75)=6325
The Max attack for Sword/Dagger user is 6325 with plus damage and dragon bonus.

So once again for RAW damage clubs reign supreme. However the sword/dagger combination has gotten a major boost. You can use scent sword effectively. Also, if you manage to land melee blows with such high dexterity you have it will hurt.

Now let us look at the Weapons skills with this set up. At first I thought I was doing something wrong when the numbers changed so drastically, but it turns out Penetration gets much better and faster when your dealing with higher numbers.

Club/Club=9210
Sword/Dagger=6325

Rage Fixed
9210x1.45=13,355 (Wow BIG DAMAGE)

Sword/Dagger Lv 4 Penetration
6325x1.9=12,018 (um.... that is only level 4!!)

Sword/Dagger Lv 7 Penetration
6325x2.2=13,915
(Penetration has actually become more powerful then a Dual Club weilder's Rage. Go on check my math, because I still can't believe it.)

Sword/Dagger Lv 9 Penetration
6325x2.4=15,180 (talk about over kill)

In conclusion, we found that base damage clubs are the better weapon choice. Overall most people will always prefer clubs. The main reason is its easy to use and fast. We also learned that numbers change and the odds lean in favor of Penetration after Level 7. One thing to keep in mind is that these are only level 110 weapons. I do not know how the numbers will change with higher level equipment. Also note that I did not use Dagger/Dagger user because obviously that is too weak of a setup. Sword/Dagger users have an even balance of hit rate and damage. They also have Scent Sword.

One deduction I think is SAFE to make is that Club/Dagger is the BEST weapon setup for MAX DAMAGE in the game with Penetration.
