Since people seem to read Nevareth Chronicles more often than Tech Support , i will post this here.

This is my archive containing working ENC Files + Update.2nd + Cabalmain.exe

Cabalmain.exe should be in the Cabal Folder.
Update.2nd should be in CabalLauncher
ENC Files go as below :




WHAT YOU NEED TO DO !

1. Make sure you downloaded update 385 and extracted the files in the .DAT file in your Cabal folder

2. Download the archive i uploaded and replace Cabalmain.exe and Update.2nd with my versions of the files.

Sometimes a corrupt Cabalmain.exe erroneously reports enc files as being corrupt. So sometimes the enc's are working ones but cabalmain.exe fcks it up.

Use my cabalmain.exe + update.2nd files to properly start the game and see the real corrupt enc files.

3. Start Cabal, and if you encounter any corrupt ENC files, use the ones in my archive (do not copy all my ENC files if they are not needed). Replace only the corrupt ones.

4. Stop using the husky workaround. That should be used only after the game works in normal launching instances. It's just a time saver to avoid the launcher and clicking Start Cabal. But before you can use it properly, you must make sure the update has installed properly.
