About GM & GA Teams



In Cabal Online we have a Team of Game Advisors on each server to help new players just joining game to find their way around and learn the game functions so they can have the best possible start in Cabal Online.

You can easily recognise them by the (GA) in front of their name. The GA teams have a leader on each server who you can recognise by the (GAL) in front of their names.

Game Masters have [GM] in front of their names, no member of the GM or GA has any other name or title and they will never ask you for your details in game for any reason. Anyone pretending to be a staff member should be reported as soon as possible for your own protection.

Please note that GA's can not read your questions if you message them from channel 24 or war maps. So please move to another channel if you have a question that you need an urgent reply to.

We have an in game chat channel which is called "TheNest". The guide on how to join a chat channel (by TheTitan):

The chat channel is for the players who have questions to ask Game Advisors in the game, the channel has no password, please keep it without password.

Do not forget that GAs are normal players like everyone else, that means that they cannot ban, kick other players, do not have access to any databases of the game, cannot view IPs etc. So please avoid revealing the details of your account (ID, passwords, etc.). All account related issues should be reported to the support system.
In order to become a Game Advisor you need to fill in an application and send it to me (Akherousia) through forum pm.

Please follow the instructions precisely, otherwise I will not even consider you. So be sure to read everything attentively.

Step 1.
Before you send in an application, please check if you meet the following requirements to become a GA:

You must have a good working knowledge of the game.
You must be a person who likes to help others.
You should be able to stand pressure, unwanted attention, constant bugging from users, flame, complaints and other unpleasant situations.
You must have good level of English.
Your character must be at least level 140
It is desirable that you are at least 20 years old
You must be online at least 10 hours each week regularly
You should be familiar with the forum and use it regularly (this is not the most important thing, but I will not consider people who have 0 or 1 post on the forum).

Who I do NOT want to see applying (if you fall under any of these categories - do not bother):
People with bad reputation (scamming, hacking, botting, speedhacking etc. etc. - EVEN if these are just rumours)
Flamers/trolls/spammers/big mouths/hell-raisers
People who spammed 15 useless posts to be able to send a PM to me
People who previously were banned or had infractions (for example, for language abuse) in game OR in forum
People who spammed lots of posts in forum without contributing anything to the community ("inb4thelock" or "+1" kind of posts)
People who are "willing to adjust their behaviour" in order to become a GA - I need people who always behave properly without any need to adjust to anything.
People who are not able to speak proper English so they either have to use a translator or a friend to send an application.

Step 2.
If you read the requirements and think that you match them, then please fill in the template and send it to me (Akherousia) through a forum PM (you send only ONE application in ONE pm unless I instruct different).

Application Template

Your main character information:
- Main character Name
- Server
- Class (not honour rank)
- Level
- Guild
- Brief info about other chars if there are any worth mentioning
(please, no lvl 50 mules)

Information about yourself:
- Age
- Location
- Level of English
Experience in game:
- How long have you been playing Cabal?
- How many hours do you usually spend online a day/week?
- Which time of the day are you usually online?
- What do you usually do online?
- Any other MMORPGs you played/play before and for how long?

Additional information:
- Please give an example of how you would deal with an angry customer who is being agressive to other players
- Situation: you are getting flamed in forum/in game just for being a GA. What will you do?
- Why do you want to become a Game Advisor?
- What is the most important in a Game Advisor, in your opinion? What is their role?
- Your plans of what you are going to do if you become a Game Advisor
- Please give me a link to your most helpful post in the forum and/or a screenshot of helping a player in game

You can add any more additional information you want.

Please write "(GA) Application {Your ingame nickname}" in the Subject field when sending the application in!

Wait for my reply.

Note 1: I am NOT obliged to explain to you why I reject your application. So no need to ask me for my reasons.
Note 2: I do not accept badly filled in or half filled in applications.
Note 3: NEVER, I repeat, NEVER send me Google translated applications. It is absolutely OBVIOUS and I will reject those applications anyway.
