If you're looking for something to do tomorrow while you watch The Oscars, other than bite your nails and fawn over Hugh Jackman's dreamy looks, log into Gaia and talk up a storm! Account Security and YOU!

We pester you about your password a lot, but there's a reason: we care. The last thing we want is for you to have your account compromised by some shady huckster who sells all your items off. So, if you haven't taken the time recently, please go update your password! Make it all long and ugly, with letters, numbers, and whatever else you can fit in there. The longer and more complicated it is, the harder it is to crack.

And while you're at it, check to make sure your account is attached to a working email account that you can still access. If it's not, update it! Doing both these things goes a long way toward keeping your Gaia experience smooth and carefree. Besides, there are some cool security features coming soon where you'll definitely need access to your email account -- don't risk getting locked out of your own account!
