Today Yellow Gremlin officially launched the beta of their Player Profiles database

YG has a very special Valentine's Day update for everyone. Today YG has officially launched the beta of our Player Profiles database! Currently YG are only profiling a few servers to start but will be expanding as we get more data and of course knock out any bugs we come across.

So how do you get your character profiled? Just come to one of the following areas on these servers and if our profiler is up and running you will be automatically added to our database and should show up on our live website under a minute.

• Wiccana (PvE) US @ City of Tortage trader
• Aries (PVP) EU DE @ City of Tortage trader

• Ironspine (PvE) US @ City of Tortage trader
• Gwahlur (PvE) US @ City of Tortage trader

As a disclaimer YG do not guarantee their profilers will be running when you show up (but they should be).

Some of the profile features include:

• Perma links for each player that always show your highest level.
• Level History - We store your previous levels so you can see how you've progressed!
• Player names are built into our suggester for quick searches.
• Ability to filter profile results by options such as Server, Level, Class, Race & Gender.
• Timestamp'ed in UTC so you know when your profile was updated

As well as some other additional updates:

• Updated game data to build 61651
• Setup an IRC channel for help, support & feedback @ irc.quakenet.org channel: #YG
• Searches that yield 1 result now automatically go to the appropriate details page.
• Added new icon images that were outdated.
