How long have you played EQ?
Nearly 6 years (Started April '03)

What other MMOs have you played?
Beta Tested Fairyland and play EQ2 off and on (more off than on)

What type of work do you do?
Unemployed for now, actively seeking work.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
Varies, can be 2 hours or 10. Depends on if I'm in a good group or if we have a raid.

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Again it varies, talk to friends, LFG for hours while soloing in Katta, grouping with guildies or my father and/or sister, raiding with the guild.

What was the race and class of your very first character?
Human Ranger (he's my main still)

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
Honestly, I was raised a gamer. I used to LOVE Jungle Hunt on the Atari 2600. My favorite games are Adventure, RPG, and puzzle.

What is your highest level in EQ?
Just hit level 78, working to get 81 for my instant DoT and then I will AA more.

What race and class is your main character?
Human Ranger (Surefall Glade, represent!)

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
I enjoy the fact that I can fill-in a few roles but not be expected to do one job. I can pull, I can tank but those are NOT my job. But that is also a double-edged sword.

Does your main character worship a deity?
Karana

How did you choose your main character's name?
In a nutshell? In a D&D like game Christians are called "LightRaiders" or "TwiceBorn", mine was a Bearknight named 'BearClaw'. That name was taken by a Shaman so I took the abbreviation for LightRaider and tagged it on. Thus his name Lrbearclaw Twiceborn.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Bard. I've had alts of all other classes and decided I like meleeing toons.

What is your favorite expansion?
SoD, I LOVE the mercenaries... hmm though LDoN was/is a blast... it's a hard call.

What is your favorite zone?
The original Blackburrow, spent the better part of a year there (no maps, didn't even know about the Far Clip Plane... so I learned the layout the hard way).

What is your favorite NPC?
Captain Tillin in South Qeynos (sorry, inside joke with my Dad). Seriously, Fippy Darkpaw, that guy is SO tenacious it is inspiring.

Which expansion do you like the least?
Secrets of Faydwer. I don't like how it screwed up stats on items.

Which zone do you like the least?
KT, that place is a freaking deathtrap.

Which NPC do you like the least?
Tovax Vmar in Qeynos Hills... I kill him on sight as revenge

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
25k on a Porous Loam that a friend made into a Sublime augment for me a couple weeks ago.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Yes, I have a bag full of old gear. It was from the original skeleton army in Butcherblock (anniversary event before the scavenger hunts were introduced). ack then they were upgrades and I earned them by pure luck. They and Lrb's newbie sword (Pine Scout Longsword) act as reminders of how far I have come in game and almost none of it was by myself. Many friends have come and gone, but they all made their mark on my Ranger AND myself.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
The community for the most part. There are some bad apples, but when you need help and ask you almost always find people willing to assist you.

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
Friendships. People I would never have met and are now like family.

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
It had to be my first day, made it from Surefall Glade to North Qeynos at level 2. I met a few people that became friends in game for many years. I watched them in awe. A Shadow Knight killed the priest of Discord while the Enchantress watched two Warriors dueling. They would back off and regen while a Shaman healed them. I sat and watched them and after 15 or so minutes they saw me. The Wizard ran to the "Bazaar" (somewhere I never heard of and saw about a year later) and came back with 3 items Lrb wore for a LONG time (the tunic alone was worn into my 40s).

Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
Afraid not, to the shock of all who know me. Perhaps one day.
