My Avatar: Big Changes Coming

We've got long term plans to overhaul the My Avatar page to make dressing up a lot easier, not to mention more fun. Some early cosmetic changes, which you can see above, will be a showing up in the next couple weeks. Keep in mind that this is the first part of an ongoing effort, so expect more changes and improvements over the next few months.

Adding friends on Gaia is easier than ever, thanks to some recent streamlining. Whenever you click the "Add Friends" option from the pulldown menu below somebody's avatar, you'll get a little window letting you request friendship. You can also include a note, so the person you're adding knows who you are or why you want to be friends.

The team behind Arenas has been working hard as of late, implementing lots of highly requested tweaks and fixes to make your experience smoother. If you haven't visited Arenas lately, now's your chance to check out some of the great art, clever writing, and awesome avatars submitted by your fellow Gaians. Better yet, post a comment or two while you're there!
