1. Basic Attribute of Mounting

As following shows every pet in Zu has its own attribute:

(1)Name: the initial name of pet.

(2)Nickname: You can change a pet's name freely. The pet's initial name is the name of pet type.

(3)Speed increase: shows the percentage of movement increase after being mounted.

(4)Satiation: tells the pet's satiation degree. If the pet's satiation is between 300 and 800, it is in normal status. If it is more than 800, the pet is too full. If the pet's satiation is lower than 300, it is too hungry.(Too high or too low satiation will reduce intimacy.)

(5)Intimacy: tells the status of intimacy between the pet and the master. If intimacy is lower than 300, the pet's attributes won't work again.

(6)Health: every time the master dies, the pet's health is reduced by 30-50 points. When the pet's health reaches 0, the pet's attributes won't work again.

(7)Savvy: determines the number of spells the pet can learn.

(8)Rider Load: determines the number of riders the pet can load.

(9)EXP: The pet's current experience and the experience needed for leveling up.

(10)Level: the pet's level.

(11)Volant: players can ride on a volant pet to fly. |

(12)Character: ||different pets have different characteristics and they can say different words in some certain condition.

2. Attribute of Pet’s Abilities and Talented Skills

1) Attribute of Pet’s Abilities

Pet's attributes will be increased after eating feedstuff. Pet's attributes are as follows:

(1) Max HP Bonus: Increases the master's maximum health.

A. The maximum health increase of Sun Warriors = Max HP Bonus* 1.755

B. The maximum health increase of Moonmaidens= Max HP Bonus * 1.353

C. The maximum health increase of Swordsmen= Max HP Bonus * 0.833

D. The maximum health increase of Bead Fairies= Max HP Bonus * 0.794

E. The maximum health increase of Summoners= Max HP Bonus * 0.917

(2) Max Mana Bonus: increases the master's maximum mana.

A. The maximum mana increase of Sun Warriors = Max HP Bonus * 0.783

B. The maximum mana increase of Moonmaidens = Max HP Bonus * 0.966

C. The maximum mana increase of Swordsmen = Max HP Bonus * 1.042

D. The maximum mana increase of Bead Fairies = Max HP Bonus * 1.064

E. The maximum mana increase of Summoners = Max Mana Bonus * 1.31

(3) Attack Power Bonus: increases the master's attack power.

A. Attack power increase of Sun Warriors = Attack Power Bonus * 0.188

B. Attack power increase of Moonmaidens = Attack Power Bonus * 0.2

C. Attack power increase of Swordsmen = Attack Power Bonus * 0.233

D. Attack power increase of Bead Fairies = Attack Power Bonus * 0.171

E. Attack power increase of Summoners = Attack Power Bonus * 0.153

(4) PD Bonus: increases the master's physical defense.

A. Physical defense increase of Sun Warriors = PD Bonus * 0.171

B. Physical defense increase of Moonmaidens = PD Bonus * 0.16

C. Physical defense increase of Swordsmen = PD Bonus * 0.1

D. Physical defense increase of Bead Fairies = PD Bonus * 0.087

E. Physical defense increase of Summoners = PD Bonus * 0.076

(5) MD Bonus: increases the master's magical defense.

A. Magical defense increase of Sun Warriors = MD Bonus * 0.18

B. Magical defense increase of Moonmaidens = MD Bonus * 0.169

C. Magical defense increase of Swordsmen = MD Bonus * 0.2

D. Magical defense increase of Bead Fairies = MD Bonus * 0.174

E. Magical defense increase of Summoners = MD Bonus * 0.152

(6) Max HP Bonus Potential: Determines the amount of max HP bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher max HP bonus.

(7) Max Mana Bonus Potential: Determines the amount of max mana bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher max mana bonus.

(8) Attack Power Bonus Potential: Determines the amount of attack power bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher attack power bonus.

(9) PD Bonus Potential: Determines the amount of physical defense bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher physical defense bonus.

(10) MD Bonus Potential: Determines the amount of magical defense bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher magical defense bonus.

(11) Movement Increase Potential: Determines the amount of movement increase bonus each time the pet levels up. Higher potential, higher movement increase bonus.

2) Pet’s Talented Skills

Pet's savvy determines the number of spells the pet can learn. Pet's savvy can be increased by feeding identified gears or feedstuff that can increase pet's savvy.

Resilience: Increases the master's resilience.

Regeneration: Increases the master's maximum HP.

Rejuvenation: Increases the master's maximum mana.

Resistance: Increases the master's parry chance.

Garrote: Increases the master's garrote chance.

Critical: Increases the master's critical strike chance.

Load: Increases the number of slots in the pet's bag.

3. Feed Pet and Walk Pet

In the case that pet's owner is dead or pet's satiation is too high or too low, pet's attributes will be damaged a great deal. Players can buy pet's feedstuff from the Pet Master to feed their pets. Besides, players can feed their pets identified gears to increase pets' spells.

1) Walk Pet

Pets can find different Pet Fruits by walking. Eating them will enhance pets' properties.

Step 1: The brown area on the map is where players are allowed to walk pets.

Step 2: Open pet info, left click the Summon button to summon a pet.

Step 3: Open the skill shortcut bar and left click the pets walking skill then drag it into the skill shortcut bar on the interface.

Step 4: Right click the 'walk pet' icon or press the corresponding shortcut key.

Step 5: While walking a pet, pets will discover pet fruit. Players can left click to pick up the fruit.

Step 6: Press shortcut key 'B' to open bag and view the detailed attributes of the pet fruit picked up.

P.S: Group with other players in the walking pet zone to shorten the time pets spend to discover pet fruit. The more teammates there are, the shorter the time the pet will spend in discovery.

2) Feed

Step 1: Open the pet properties bar and bag.

Step 2: Drag the feedstuff in the bag or (identified equipments) into the properties bar.

Step 3: Left click the 'Feed' button, then you can find out whether corresponding properties are increased or not.

P.S:

Pet Feedstuff can increase pet’s attribute.

(1) Increases pet's Satiation

(2) Increases pet's Intimacy

(3) Increases pet’s HP

(4) Restores some HP for the dead pet

(5) Increases savvy

(6) Increases pet’s talented skills

A. Certain types of feedstuff can increase pet's talented experience.

B. Feed the pet identified equipment to increase the pet's talented experience. Pets will get C. more talented experience if the equipment is better.

D. When talented experience reaches the required points, the talented skills will be upgraded.

E. The extra talented experience will be added to existing talent skills.

F. When the number of the pet's spells is equal to its savvy, the talent experience obtained upon feeding will be added to spell talent.

(7) When pet's Satiation is higher than 800, the intimacy will be reduced.

(8) The dead pet can only be fed on revival feedstuff.

(9)Pet can't be fed unidentified gear.

4. Mount and Summon

1) Mount

While riding a pet, players move quicker.

Step 1: Players must have a pet equipped to mount. If not, right click on a pet to equip.

Step 2: Open the spell menu, left click 'ride' and drag it into action bar on the interface.

Step 3: Right click the 'Ride' icon or press the corresponding shortcut key to mount a pet.

Step 4: Press 'W,A,S,D' on the keyboard to adjust the pet's movement direction or left click the ground to move the pet.

Step 5: While riding, players can use the 'Ride' ability again to dismount.

P.S:

(1) Only the owner can ride a pet which can carry only one player, while the owner together with one more player can ride a pet which can carry two players.

(2) If pet's intimacy is lower than 300 or the pet is dead, players can't ride it.

(3) Only a pet that has hit level 40 can be mounted.

(4) Once players are attacked while mounted, he/she is dismounted at once.

2) Summon

Players can summon their pets at any time to accompany them.

How to summon:

Step 1: Open pet interface and click 'Summon' icon.

Step 2: Call the pet out.

Step 3: A pet will talk with a player automatically under special conditions and do action.

P.S: While riding, players cannot mount!

5. Pet Equipment

After players obtain a pet, they should have the pet equipped to attach the pet's attributes to themselves. Besides, players can grant their pets higher talents and more gorgeous looks by equipping them.

1). Equip pets

Step 1: Open inventory and right click on the pet icon to equip it.

Step 2: Open pet properties bar to examine pet's current properties.

Step 3: Open character properties bar after equipping pets and right click pet icon to offload pet.

P.S:

(1) Players can only be equipped with pets whose level is lower than their level.

(2) Players can't change pets when their pet bags have items inside. or pets have been summoned.

(3) Players can't change pets when the pets have been summoned.

(4) Players can't change pets when riding them.

(5) Players can't change pets when they are flying, summoning or dead.

2) Equip Pet

Step 1: Find the Pet Master and purchase pet equipment.

Step 2: Open bag and right click chosen equipment to equip it to the pet.

Step 3: Open pet info box again to view the pet's new look after equipping.

P.S:

(1) Pet must meet the level requirements for the equipment.

(2) The equipment equipped on a pet cannot be unequipped and can only be replaced by other equipment. After equipping new equipment on the pet, the former equipment vanishes.

(3) Pets cannot be equipped with equipment after being summoned.

(4) Pets cannot be equipped with equipment while mounted.

(5) Some items, such as Pet's Inner Bolus can change pet's appearance completely.

6. The First Pet

Zu provides players with pets of different shapes and talents. Every one can get a pet after finishing the quest: To Know Immortal Pet 1 when he/she reaches level 20.

Step 1: Find the Pet Master and right click to open the chat box to get the quest: To Know Immortal Pet 1.

Step 2: You can get pet egg after finishing the quest.

Step 3: Click the bag icon or press shortcut B to open the bag. Then you can right click the pet egg to equip it. (Or you can also left click the pet icon and draw it to character properties bar.)

Step 4: Click the pet info bar you can view the pet’s information and change its name.�/P>

P.S: Players get the first pet when he/she reaches level 20 can only retain 30 minutes. However, the pet can be retained a long time if the players reach level 30.
