Yellow Gremlin Database Update!

Yellow Gremlin has just completed their first big content update for the item database.

YellowGrem (site owner) is reporting that they have successfully added over 41,000 items to their database. On top of this they have also remade all of their item icons and have added new high-resolution images for all items. You can see some of those samples below:

December 6th Update:

We've updated again with some cool new stuff.

  • New Features:
    • 4.5k new items added to the database
    • New high resolution images for all items
    • Completely remade item icons
    • German translation updates by Nunduniel (Partial update - The rest will be updated December 7th or 8th)
  • Changes:
    • Item icon system updates, should help pages load a bit faster
    • Some layout & font updates to item details page
    • Rarity order on filter now goes from rarest to least rare
  • Bugs:
    • IE7 "Link Item" bugs fixed
    • Fixed a few tool-tip word wrap issues
    • IE7 button layouts fixed
So what are we working on now?
  • Flagging all test items and moving them to a new category
  • Adding any missing tool-tip data (PvP Level, missing effects, etc)
  • Finishing the Ask Kalanthes feat calculator integration
  • A completely new tool-tip generator (Much smaller tooltip sizes so they load faster)
  • Adding Combos and Feats data from Ask Kalanthes
