Sprints have been a popular play format for players the last several months, and we've been watching carefully and listening to your comments and suggestions. The most frequent comment we've heard is that you want more opportunities to play at more diverse times. At the same time, you want to be able to have a shot at placing higher in the end-of-month rankings.

We have the solution to both of those issues.

First, Sprints are now being run twice per day, Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. PT. Please see the Events Calendar for dates and times. This will give you the opportunity to work on your Sprint point totals with 10 different weekly events!

But wait, there's more. From time to time, we'll offer special weekend Sprint events. These will be called out on the Events Calendar.

So, how does this help those of you who can't play in 10 or more events per week? Glad you asked. We'll be using a new calculation for the Sprint totals. Each week, Sunday through Saturday, you and everyone else will receive Sprint points for only the best four showings. For example: You had a great day on Monday and placed very well on the two events. Tuesday was a terrible day, and you just couldn't get your deck to work. On Wednesday, you rebounded and placed well again. For the rest of the week, you played OK. You'll receive points for the Monday and Wednesday events. The rest does not affect your schedule.

One last thing to note is how we will handle partial weeks. If a month ends in the middle of the week, you will receive credit for the top four events for that week through the last day of the month.
