How very wrong he was!

He was trying to race a school of Grouts (he seemed to be under the impression that one of them said something unkind about his mother) up the River Kawaii when his ship ran aground and promptly sank out of sight. The cold water sobered him a bit, fortunately, and he was trying to decide what to tell the king when the first jelly crawled up on to the shore like an angry amoeba. There was murder in its eyes...

Rosal was the first to discover this calamity. The captain's yelps for assistance reached far and wide. Fortunately, Far was around to hear them! Together with Spinkick, DeFeNsE-ShIeLd, and a mighty mob, a hearty clean-up crew was formed. Jellies were being eaten up by the pound! It's not every day that hundreds of sweet treats wind up dumped on the shore of a river.

As the more vicious jellies were cleared away, some shy varieties of the sticky square creatures came out and timidly clung to the heroes, seeking protection from their aggressive brothers. While no one was heartless enough to eat such gentle jellies in front of the crowd, who knows what went on behind closed doors later that day?

On Rushu, it was the likes of RikkiL, Yrona, and killerofmonkeys who scooped up the sugary invaders. Kaleh, Travern, and Ceruleus combated the crazed confections with gusto and appetite. Some of the jellies crawled up onto an island in the middle of the river, and even though all our heroes are skilled artisans in the realm of combat, no one seemed to know how to swim. It was a bit tragic.

Do you think that poor tame jelly will be okay with such a rowdy personality? We can only hope...
