This is the Community Update for 22nd December 2006 including: Happy Holidays, Lost Eden Guides, and Professional Openings.

Happy Holidays

The holiday season is now upon us and even the developers will be taking a few days to celebrate the holidays before preparing the next Lost Eden update for the live servers.

Many thanks to the community for all the great and constructive feedback on the expansion that we have received so far and we are looking forward to being able to provide more updates in the new year.

The global research is progressing well on all the servers, and we are sure we will start to see more and more of the mech and turret variants making a real impression on people over the holidays! You might also want to be careful passing by active tower battles as it would seem that people have taken a like to the new orbital strikes and bombing runs so be careful out there!

Lost Eden Guides

The expansion was no more then a day old when the folks over at AO-Universe started to provide a great series of guides to the new content, so if you'd like more information on the latest features that have come with the expansion make sure you drop by and check them out!

Professional Openings

The Professionals program is looking for volunteers again. The professionals are those players who communicate the specific professional concerns from the player base to the dev team and are active on the forums talking about and discussing the ins and outs of their profession. Representatives to Funcom from the players themselves. You can find the details of the program here

There are currently slots available for the following professions:

Adventurer, Agent, 2 x Bureaucrat, Doctor, Enforcer, Engineer, Fixer, Keeper, 2 x Martial Artist, Nano Technician, and Trader
