This is the Community Update for 17th February 2006, including: AO Universe Competition, Event Reminder, and New Professionals.

AO Universe Competition

We have teamed up with the good folk at AO Universe to offer some great prizes for their latest competition.

The prizes up for grabs include a lifetime subscription to Anarchy Online amongst other goodies, so make sure you drop by and check it out for a chance to win!

Event Reminder

This weekend sees a special event being hosted by the guys over at Gridstream Productions . The promotional event will find DJ Tarryk interviewing Aaron Ruby, the co-author of the new book "Smartbomb", about the video game revolution. Particular points within the book discuss the world of Rubi-Ka and it's population, those points will be discussed in detail, and questions will be taken from the public of Rubi-Ka. While the event will take place on RK1/Atlantean, questions will be taken over gridbot from all dimensions.

New professionals

The latest volunteers have been appointed to the professional program so congratulations go out to Marxgorm, Shihna, Aratink, Vladikimski and Onlymeh on their appointments for the Soldier, Shade, Fixer, Keeper and Agent professions respectively!
