Items

Gems can be inserted in socketed items to give the item magical properties. Once a gem has been inserted into an item, it will disappear. Even if you remove a socket from an item, you can't get the gem back.
     Qualities: There are three grades of gems: Normal, Refined and Super. There are eight types of gems: Dragon, Phoenix, Kylin, Moon, Rainbow, Violet, Fury and Tortoise.
     Multiple Gems: If different types of gems are inserted into a weapon, they both affect your attacks simultaneously. However, only one special effect can be seen at a time (a random effect.)

Exclusive Gems
Only Thunder Gems and Glory Gems can be socketed on the Talismans.
The Thunder Gem can only be socketed on the Heaven Fan. Thunder Gems of different qualities will bring different attack and magic attack attributes.

Quality Attack/Magic Attack Normal 100 Refined 300 Super 500

The Glory Gem can only be socketed on the Star Tower. Glory Gems of different qualities will bring different defense and magic defense attributes.

Quality Defense/Magic Defense Normal 100 Refined 300 Super 500

Note: You have a chance to get normal Thunder Gems or normal Glory Gems by killing monsters.

After you gain a gem and socketed item, you may visit Artisan Cloud in Phoenix Castle (243,237). He can help you insert your gems into your weapon. Just talk to him, open the socketing window, place your socketed item in the big slot and your gem in the small slot, then click "socket" to get a gemmed item.
