A zone that was originally shown at the debut of Aion: Tower of Eternity, it has now made a comeback with jameinkaiser's translation as South Rakhan. The content about the zone has therefore been provided by this particular translation.

Brief Summary

South Rakhan is a very 'tiny' zone that can be cleared in about 20 minutes, with the starting points in Tizerid Sky Fortress and Urdah Ruins. Players can infiltrate the Krall Outpost through the Death Valley, and upon defeating Grand Chief Sanduka hiding in the Abyssal Gate, players are shown a brief flashback into the peaceful past of what is now the ruins that harbor the Krall Outpost.

Media

It's worth noting of the NPC that follows the player around as shown in the cutscene. Judging from the glowing red eyes, it may have been an earlier representation of the Asmodians, or could have been an Asmodian disguised as an Elyos lore-wise.

At the moment, it's difficult to determine when the zone will be introduced in terms of game progress. Seeing how the E3 version of the map and the world map are still included in the game though, it's very likely that we'll be seeing new content including the zone very soon.
