Sometimes, Game Guard (Our Anti-Hack Software) displays the alert after detecting a hack program, macro software or even another program running on your computer which behaves or utilizes functions similar to a hacking program.


A. Uninstall any macro software or scripting tools you may have on your system using the Control Panel-

You can either disable them temporarily or uninstall them if you feel they are un-necessary.

If you have Yahoo Search Protection installed on your system Uninstall it.

To access the list of programs installed and uninstall the program use the below steps-

Click on ‘Start’, ‘Control Panel’, 'Classic View' (on the left) and then ‘Programs’(Vista) or ‘Add or Remove Programs’ (XP), Look for 'Yahoo Search Protection' and uninstall it.


B. To find/isolate the program causing the issue, try the following steps–

Sometimes there may be a process running in the background that conflicts with the game. By closing the processes one by one, we can find out if a certain process is causing a conflict or affecting the game and stop the process from starting with windows by using the msconfig tool.

Use Task Manager to check if any process is causing the issue by disabling them. Check if the game works after closing one process, if you are unsuccessful try the next until you check all the processes. If you are successful, use 'msconfig' to remove or disable the process from starting with windows (We recommend you do not try this step without the help of an expert or any support if you are not an experienced user).
