From there, follow the instructions on the page to download the software and obtain your free trial registration code.
 
Designed specifically for the Windows® version of FINAL FANTASY XI, the 14-Day Free Trial features the content package from the original release and remains cross-platform compatible. After the 14-Day Free Trial expires, players have up to 90 days to upgrade to a full version account and continue playing with the characters they have created during the Free Trial.
