The mission starts with you hailing Kelliad, but all he does is send you to Meldrek, who is farther down the wall from Kelliad. This mission actually starts out with you hailing Meldrek and saying the phrase "wish to continue". He then ports you into the mission, which is an instanced version of Stoneroot falls. You start out exactly where you were just in an instanced version. My group was a warrior, cleric, shadowknight, shaman, wizard and me, bard. The first thing you must do is kill a few of the witherean mobs. They are pretty easy, don't hit too hard. The annoying thing is most are druids and will stand there and cast at you for a while before actually comming to the group. Most, if not all the spells were resisted easily by my group with Veeshan going (big resist buff for those who are not bards).
After killing 10 or so you complete that step. Also while killing these you must look a witherean meat or some such, I forget the exact name of the item.
After you finish up those first to parts you have to make your way to the city. Continue along the wall you zoned into till you see some spiders. My group and I skipped the spiders outside and just went right inside the wall and left to the corner after entering the city.
Here I (the bard) pulled the required mobs to the group and we killed them off. We had to kill 25 guards (a drachnid) and 10 diligent silkweavers, or a name close to that. All the mobs were easy, and missed alot. I did encounter a buncha resists, and the shaman/wizard said they were quite resistant as well, so the shaman was maloing each mob. Also, you had to loot a few skins or something off the drachnid mobs, and 4 silks off the silkweaver mobs. The drops are not rare at all and are easy to get. By the time we had killed all the required number of mobs, we had the amount of items you had to collect and then some.
Also, while killing these mobs we found out that hey repop. And the repops are the exact type of mob that was there before repop. So if you can't find any more silkweaver mobs, just wait for one to repop in his old spot.
After you kill off the requried numbers and loot the required items you are told to make your way to the princes chamber. This requires you to clear the path to a big ramp that you can't miss (when in the zone you'll see what I'm talking about). It's striaght from where you entered the city so you can't miss it. When you do enter the city, up that ramp is nothing. But after killing a bunch of the required mobs, a mob called The Chamber Guardian spawns at the top of that ramp.
This mob wasn't extremly difficult, but we did fail the first time because we had no idea what to expect. The Chamber Guardian hits relatively easy at the start, but around 40% he gets much more difficult. At around 10% the tank went down, the SK went down, and everyone kept dying. The WIzard said he got hit for 3300, and I as a bard with a buncha defensives, but not much AC, got hit for around 2300-2900. He is unslowable, but he does miss alot on anyone with max avoidance AAs and some avoidance gear. You need a very befy tank for this. Another little trick this guy has is an AOE Knockback + Snare. With bard resists going the whole time, I never resisted this. Now my resists aren't maxed, but there were all around 450-500. He also has an AOE root, but I never saw that stick to me.
The Knockback isn't as bad as it may seem, but very dangerous when you don't know it's comming. This was the main reason our group wiped the first time. He usually knocks the tank back, then summons him, so no one else is getting hit really. The problem comes when the cleric got interupted on a cheal and couldn't catch up with the heals. We also had the shaman patch healing, and the tank went down around 10%. Our tank was around 12k, so not the greatest, but was enough when we knew what to expect. After killing him loot the item off him.
After killing the boss we rezzed those that died, looted the helm off him, and then checked the mission window. Have to give all the items you had to loot to Kelliad. Gave in the items and got our rewards.
